Allow me to recommend a variant - lets call it the ICantBeArsedToDriveOverThereinix. Same setup as your Domi, except high slots are 3 x named 350s + 3 x Drone Link augmentors. Squeeze in 5 Warden sentry drones, kill things from around 105km away....

I had exactly the same issue, and got my ship back. Only difference was that the mission was the third room in a level 4 Serpentis Ex. I think you'd be unlucky not to be remibursed.
