241. Post Here If you are UNhappy with the MWD and AFTERBURNER CHANGES - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Edited by: Methesda on 13/01/2004 03:34:05 Personally i think the changes do reflect a certain kind of realism in the game. For fighters i can see the point, but for indies... I don't mind crawling along at 100m/s with 20,000m3 cargo space, b...

243. Market (RL) research - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Reading thru the patch review posts and general discussion forums, I think, gives a biased opinion of what is really wrong with the game at the moment. A few people kicking up such a fuss about a few things that have affected them really badly see...

244. The new blueprint distribution system - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Umm. So BP's will ONLY be distributed by agents? If market BP's were a lot rarer, but you could also get them from your agent then this could be good. But i don't like the idea that BP's would only be available from agents. Giving greater reward...

245. Encounter distance 150k-->frontlines - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I don't think that would be a good solution (increasing encounter ranges). At a guess the range that you drop out of warp is is linked to landmarks, not players in the code. So if you made a 150km emergence range, that would mean that every jump ...

246. outside game skilltraining - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
They didn't actually put in a 'cap' as you call it on data transfer rates. Lag and data transfer are usually completely unrelated... you can have a small packet and it could take ages to get back because of the route your ISP sends it on, or you c...

248. Nerfing Shield Hardeners - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Absolutely, having mined MAO trying to get a battlehship that cost ten times a cruisers cost, i would expect to get a little bit more than 4x the shield... don't Nerf shield hardners... why? Anyone can use one so it's still fair is it not?

249. I don't want to lose my ship, so could i help fix the market instead? - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Rebell - I appreciate what this looks like, but i don't have a problem with losing my battleship whilst at war. My point was that we aren't actually AT war. Nobody wants to lose anything. I am not going to lose my battleship because there is no wa...

250. I don't want to lose my ship, so could i help fix the market instead? - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
A debate rages on about the trade market, how bad it is, and even how bad the player items market is. I think the thrust of this whole debate is giving players more of an ability to lose there ships. The 'cost' of losing rare items would in itself...

251. What happend to tradegoods market? - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I think the thrust of this whole debate is giving players more of an ability to lose there ships. The 'cost' of losing rare items would in itself be a bitter pill. But to encourage people to take out their ships and get some player-to-player actio...

Edited by: Methesda on 31/08/2003 11:15:42 Well, yesterday evening after all the problems of the last few days (feels like weeks) I came on line to what felt like a new game. I just wanted to say to any of the devs or the GMs that might see th...

Edited by: Methesda on 27/08/2003 13:26:02 I read your ideas with interest, but there are a number of reasons why, as a plan of development for the game, most are unfeasable. I like to consider myself a unique character. This is something tha...

254. Trade Routes for Americans? - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Wodka... what you say is true, but the point is that we europeans can still get online after work 3-4 hours before our m8's across the pond. I think CCP should make randomizing the initiation of npc market orders a priority, not just because it w...
