If you don't have Sentry Interfacing 5 then it wouldn't hurt to use faction sentries but the T2 versions are better. They do more DPS than the faction variations and although there is a difference in tracking it's very small and anyway you counter...

Sentry damage(medium+large) and nothing else. Noone in their right mind would bother with the other rigs, the above 2 are popular for a number of drone ships.
