1. Cheap laptop which can at least run eve - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
I am after getting a laptop. It wont be used for playing EVE mostly as I have a main pc for that but I want it to at least be able to run the non premium graphics version fairly well. A lot of the cheaper ones seem to use the Intel Media Graphics...

Nope I still cannot connect to the server. The message sais I dont have an inconnect connection, incorrect address or the server is down. No problems connecting using the main client to TQ so it is fine my end.

NTL use transparent proxy servers which is the cause of these problems. The proxy does send standard information about the actual IP address of the client making the request. If some websites are reporting the wrong one then they are broken.

Seem a couple of problems in Jita. Once when testing the new cluster and again today just before DT. Everyone gets stuck in warp (warp is active but ship does not move) and relogging does not help. I have submitted a bug report.

Having shield extenders instead of hardeners will improve your shield amount but you will take a lot more damage especially when being hit by EM missiles. You loose a lot mre shield by not having the hardeners than you gain with the shield recharg...

Dont bother picking up the loot in the ferox. You waste too much time. Just bookmark a can from each area you fight in and then go back and finish the mission. Any deadspace will return to normal space then. Then get a Kestrel with cargo expander...

I had no problems in a passive tanked ferox so it can be done in a BC. On the 2nd stage as soon as you enter fly upwards.
