702. Crusader PvP setup/tactics - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Pulses have much better tracking than beams. Tracking is king when you have a ship that flies at high speeds. It's better to hit than not to hit at all. Pulses also have a higher rate of fire for sustained high damage over time, and they have l...

Edited by: Slithereen on 06/11/2004 11:16:25 At first glance in paper, the Retribution appears better than the Vengeance in PvE. More guns, damage bonus, higher armor HP, more grid, slightly more cap. Put an MWD on both, and you will discove...

Originally by: Ghost Red Shame. We need another decent space mmorg. There is Darkspace. It's space, definitely MMO, some RP aspects, but it's more about team and tactical fleet combat than anything. ____________________________________...

Edited by: Slithereen on 05/11/2004 07:23:50 Many oldbies run agent missions because of the tech 2 components that can be used for building tech 2 ships and modules. I remember early this year, when Castor was first launched, the clear trend ...

I tried to use my Stabber as a super frigate with four 425s and it got badly owned. Not matter how fast, the ship can't get rid of its cruiser sig radius, which means it's going to get hit no matter what. I have much better luck using the Stab...

Three things about this mission. 1. Take out the Bounty Hunter(?) first. That's the guy who wants to web you. If you got webbed, and a wall of missiles coming at you, say sayonara. To do that, you must warp in at 60km. The other guys won't rush...

I dunno. Lots of older players are playing the instancing game too (agent missions). I also can't say that most players in EVE has not played a space game before. Me, I have played Allegiance (my first MMO), Shattered Galaxy (my second MMO), all...
