1. Why EVE is doomed to walk the lonley path like Asherons Call - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I think the average new player would care less about the whole Bob thing. They would not understand the impact on such a unique game such as Eve. To be honest, I still dont consider it a big deal as long as CPP takes steps in the future to ensure ...

2. The Amarr issue and what really ticks me off about it. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Working as intended. The developers believe because Amarr chars get such pimp hoods in their char portraits that they are balanced by having weapons that can only fire for a few seconds. Having both would make the race unbalanced.

Dont underestimate those nice Energized Regenitive Armor Mods. 12.5% armor is really nice.

6. Apocalypse loadout, your idea's? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
The problem is that armor based defensive systems have very high fitting requirements. You will not be able to sufficiently mount high fitting cost weapons like tachs. It would be better to capitalize on your strengths than try to duct tap your we...

7. Apocalypse loadout, your idea's? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Ahh, I have a similar setup currently. I am unable to fit the 1600 because 1, they are rare, and 2, they require a rank 5 skill. I currently use 400s and Energized Regenitive plating that gives a whopping additional 12.5 after skills. Lets just sa...

8. Armageddon Medium Slots - Which are crucial? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I cant imagine why you would want to use shield hardeners on an Armageddon that has a microwarp drive equipped. I use a microwarp drive, armor repairer, and the last slot changes depending on the situation. Low slots are filled with cap relays, an...

9. BTW folks my prediction came true. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Tacheons are nice but I would not use them IÆm PVP. If you have those bad boys mounted on an Amar ship even you cant fill your slots with decent guns. I like large beams and pulse lasers.

10. Show Caldari some love! - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Sorry I just donÆt buy it. Caldari already have missiles and electronic warfare. You can use those med slots to easily balance out you not getting an innate mod that increases damage. Scorpion is not meant to be a damage dealer; the Raven has a bo...

11. Missles on Chaos suck again.. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
You guys all want missiles to be more powerful than turrets. What happens to turrets then? Why would I even bother using turrets in pvp if missiles are more powerful? The Caldari ships would become automatically overpowered again. They already hav...

12. Deployable items feedback - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Edited by: Solas on 13/09/2003 15:22:22 I donÆt think players will need anchoring while mining in security areas. I was under the impression that opening another players can and taking items would agro the police post patch.

13. Problem with armor based fitting balance. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I cant find any skill that helps prevent damage leakage form armor to hull. Only one that helps shield to armor leakage.

14. Problem with armor based fitting balance. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Quote: This is very much a topic about cpu. Armor reinforcements use CPU. Quite a bit of it really. More than most lowslot and medslot modules. So nerfing the cpu's do have an impact on what you can mount in the way of armor. Personally I ha...

15. Problem with armor based fitting balance. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Quote: Armor is generally more resistant to most damage than shields. Armor hardeners use no energy to activate, as they are low slot items. Shields are your first line of defense, so yeah it would make sense that shield modules are a bit ...

16. Changes to stacking of modules with multiplying effect - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I donÆt think Amar ships will be as bad off as some of you guys think. There other useful modules to put in low slots than heatsinks. You just have to think outside of the box and capitalize on the strength of Amar ships. If you are running shield...

17. Problem with armor based fitting balance. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]

18. Problem with armor based fitting balance. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]

19. Changes to stacking of modules with multiplying effect - in Ships and Modules [original thread]

20. Changes to stacking of modules with multiplying effect - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I would like to comment on people complaining that stacking will hurt Aamar ships. You guys act like the only thing that is of any use in those slots is heat sinks. If you are filling those slots with just heat sinks are not capitalizing on great ...
