When you launch the probes they appear in space at your ship location When you open the system map it shows you your ship location When you look for your probes which we have already verified are where your ship is........ hang on a second .........

Or you could just not spawn the Pinata until the entire site is cleared. Or in sites with multiple routes to the pinata, all rats on the path that was taken by the player who enters the Pinata room first. Being able to attack one target in a site...

Dont quote me but I seem to remember seeing more Cross-Faction missions at lower levels too, though this may have simply been due to the speed at which you can tear through the L1/2 missions if youre fit correctly. Be wary of ignoring the faction...
