1. Setting up a Salvager (Cormorant) - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Personally, I found fitting 5 tractors and 3 salvagers worked better for dedicated salvage work. This was because using 4 of each I was always running out of stuff to salvage and waiting for the tractors to move things close enough. YMMV, of cour...

21,286,500 skill points in 120 skills. 37 skills at Level V. But then I keep getting distracted and going for new long term goals every few months. There are so many things to do in this game, even after this long. ;)

7. Rats in belt randomly changed aggro, Killed my Hulk - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
It is not a glitch, it is AI decision making. "Hmmm ... that player hasn't hurt my fleet, and is hard to kill. I'll come back to him after I've popped his gun toting friends that are more squishy!" This happened to me in a few level 4 missions r...

9. Manufacturing from Corp Hangar fails - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
For those that are interested, it only seems to happen if you are not building from the first (default) corporate hangar. The reason it fails is because the input/output hangar selection no longer auto-selects the hangar you right clicked the bl...

11. Wreck "Flipping" - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Easy. You loot the wreck, then kick the stuff out of your ship into a jet-can. Then, when your 'victim' takes his loot, he's stealing from you, and your "wreck flipping" just worked like can flipping.

IE6 doesn't support alpha transparency in .png images properly, but IE7 and (of course) Firefox does. I did some tests just a few months ago to verify this. Also, a number of graphics programs default to a medium level of compression on the .png f...

16. Wrecks Still Broken - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
I can see shooting a can being "hostile" since they only drop if there is loot, and when you empty them they pop. Thats why I have never shot at a can, not even my own. I cannot see why shooting a wreck, especially one that has been looted, is co...

Edited by: krenshala on 05/12/2006 23:32:58 I like the idea of shipwrecks. When you kill a ship, it should leave a pile of debris behind that might contain something useful. I also feel it should track which ones you checked (anything that al...
