Roy, you started out describing the lack of resistance and the destruction of Delve assets pretty acurately. But what's this crap about '7 Months to all conqurable space?'
Even if the goal was to conquer all of Eve, that's one whopper of a prediction. Uh...you kinda forgot to mention your Allies as well. Very bad form.
Remove your delusions about Winning Eve and your Cult of Personality references. Recognize that we are destroying the infrastructure and industrial might of TAFKAB, but that the pilots still exist.
Above all, don't count your chickens before they are hatched. There is nothing Inevitable about this war; we've still got alot of work to do.

Just as an aside, I gave up updating the towers. Its just not worth the effort. I just warp to moons in my dread and shoot whatever is there.

Let's lay it out simply since this still seems to be a common point of confusion for some reason.
An individual was given the rights to disband an alliance. Said individual chose to exercise that right.
That's all that happened. The wisdom of placing that power in the hands of someone, the betrayal of trust, the lack of foresight ... that's where the story is. The game mechanics worked exactly as they were intended, and all this could have been avoided if someone had thought things through before handing out the alliance off-switch to a bunch of people.
Anyway, I think it's time I flew a covops again.

Hey I'll ve the first to admit that I'm no fan of Goonswarm but I have to concur with the OP's observations. Only the most jaded of Kenny fanboi can possibly believe that they can recover their space given the rate of destruction underway.
I've taken my own recon/cov ops ships through Delve within the first couple of days and it was like the California Gold Rush all over again. It was fun to see fleets belonging...to well everyone rushing down to moon grab, fight, pirate and make a killing in the local market. Though I think the mechanic that caused this is lame (I'm no friend of BoB either), the speed at which Goon and Co. moved all they had to Delve to go "all in" was impressive.
I keep hearing from Kenny and Friends that "its not over" or "its just begun." I have a hard time believing that Kenny and Co will keep more than a handful of systems by the time Goonies achieve Sov4.
The political landscape of EvE has shifted again, let the realignments, backstabbing and counterattacking begin!

Just a couple of things.
First off, Roy, you're spot on, Ultima Online at downtime, the graveyard north of Brittania was the nuts, man, righteous combat for ten minutes.
Delve has been a little anti-climactic.
Everyone crying about unfair, some guy they trusted shut their alliance down is missing a big point.
Kengoku KEPT their sov claims. They had towers and mods all over Delve, they had titans and caps ready to go. Instead, they don't fight, and goons and, more importantly, goons awesome allies, lock down the system, and kill kfc pos. It isn't that kfc is losing fights, they aren't, because the only ones fighting are kfc pets, like minor impact and -a-. Bob refuses to undock. I guess they are all on sisi theorycrafting or something, but the fact of the matter is, their leadership is either stunned or scared into silence. Their mighty (?) capfleet is either being sold off or put into long term storage. They have decided on a strategy of "patience".
There is an old joke about a guy who breaks into a house, and tells the husband/father to keep his feet off the floor, while his gang robs the house and abuses the guys wife/daughter/family pet. The homeowner keeps laughing while his home and family are pillaged. Finally the burglar asks, what is so funny, and the homeowner says, "I've already put my foot on the floor three times!" He was patient.
Laugh it up KFC.

At least you are right about Delve being anti-climatic. Nothing "epic" or fun is happening, POS grinding is on the daily menu and thats hardly worth the 200 threads goons open every day about it. |

How many elite pvp'ers does it take to beat a swarm of t1 frigates? Why not try something during BoB primetime? Why not plan something with your allies to at least show some courage, some bravery, some dedication to protecting your own assets? Better to live on your feet than die on your knees. Truth be known, its their pets Exe, Minor Threat etc. that have had the balls to show up for a fight, win, lose or draw, not Kenny!
