Decided to post here since I can't log in the game atm, and I haven't received any response on the message on the bank's site.
Just wondering when my withdrawal/refund will be processed, since it's been a few days already, thanks.

Here we go again Dog, Same old Sh&TT just a different day.
This is either one heck of a scam, or the worst run IPO/Bond/Bank ever. |

Given that they only have one or two people handling transactions at the moment, I believe it was stated before that delays will happen until another teller is brought on.
Give them time to response. Last time there was a big delay, he logged on and processed through some 100 requests in a night. |

How short people's memories are.
IPO, Bond or Bank, take your pick. There have been a lot worse.
Even if Dynasty were to turn to scamming tommorrow, they would still be head and sholders above the worst of any of these thus far.

As far as I know, we still don't have any withdrawal tellers beyond Manalapan, and having only one means there's a risk that real life issues will result in withdrawal times being unacceptable, from time to time.
We are very sorry about this, and Manalapan is taking steps to hire more withdrawal tellers, but there must be some reason why it is taking so long.

I want to know why the most active DBANK employee has been given and held a crappy PR role when something so much more important (withdrawals) is untouched.
You are basically a corporate asset that should be easily able to be integrated into the operation. |

Honestly I wonder if DBANK has even made up the loss they took, they are very low key atm, not much talk (don't recall any reports in 2mths or so now, could be wrong on this).
I would be staying away from this until some questions are taken care of, and customers come first. Right now it seems neither are being taken care of except by one person that is suppose to be a PR Rep but seems to know very little going on.
Even with EBANK if needed I have MSN Contacts, Phone numbers, Private messages via forum boards, and many employee's to contact. DBANK needs somthing similiar to get my isk. -----

Edited by: cosmoray on 24/02/2009 22:47:45 The HUGELY worrying thing for me is that most of DBank's profits come from trading. They do have some investments and loans but these barely cover the 7% 4 month CD interest rate.
Now it looks like all the work of DBank is being done by Manalapan. If he doesn't have time to deal with withdrawals, how can he possibly have time to generate over 20B per month in wealth creation to cover interest payments.
I can't see how a 1 man operation can survive like this. At some point (I think very soon) we will reach a tipping point and drastic measures will need to be taken.
Also, Salpad what do you actually do? You come on here and TRY to answer questions, but it seems as if you don't have any REAL answers. Can you contact Manalapan in RL? Do you talk?
I personally am losing confidence in DBank, and I haven't seen any monthly statements or reports to put my mind at ease.
Some communication and an audit is required. At the very least to confirm the total money on deposit exists.

I've also been waiting for a withdrawal, for three days now. The timestamp for my request was "2009-02-22 00:50:51" and it still says it's not claimed by a teller yet. I posted on their forums last night asking if there was a problem delaying things but no official reply as of yet. Though someone else did post saying they've been waiting for a few days, too.

I'm in possession of api keys sufficient to audit dBank. I have not started on this audit as of yet though I've had the api keys for about 2 weeks now. (I'm clearing my plate of everything before I commit.) I applied to be a teller, my one specific requirement was if I could remain anonymous, but dBank's needs outweighed my desire for low(er) profile. I am in no position to speak for dBank, I am not being paid by dBank, and we have currently had no conversation about me ever being paid by dBank. I think the actual desire is to have me be as independent as possible while still providing a critical eye that may help dBank. PS: I've also recently suggested a teller process that could relieve some pressure but will require some coding and though adjustments.

Shar, maybe you have his ear better than I do.
EBANK has offered twice now to "loan" him a teller or two if he hits a busy spot in his life. DBANK's lack of tellers is an operational risk to the Bank and I have no understanding as to why their process for getting new tellers is taking THIS long.
A quick band-aid fix would be to put out a call for some of the more established MD names to come on as tellers for short fixed periods of time (a month or two) while he finishes getting more long term ones.

While I share your frustration, I would advocate the need for patience. DBANK has done very well for itself all things considered. I don't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater here.

For all of my supposed animosity towards eBank I have complete trust and faith in eBank tellers and staff. So, if I was influential in decision making process, I'd not hesitate to a little competition fraternization. But Xabier's actions has done damage. In an environment wrought with a lot of mistrust dBank simply needs to weather through the process of internal introspection (which I'm going to be part of) as well as bringing more tellers online. It is to my understanding that another teller has come online within the past 24 hours. I've received additional api keys for people becoming "staff" and who will be handling dBank funds. As to finding more tellers, eBank itself, for all of it's market presence, still has only a few tellers as well. IMNSHO If not for the workhorse known as Athre I think you guys would have much much higher service response times. And I know for a fact that people like Athre, and the other tellers/staff at eBank, are very few. Very very few. So I'd say it is wise of dBank to progress slowly at this time and risk some customer dissatisfaction while it does its best to recover, and restructure, from Xabier's actions. It's simply the responsible thing to do.

I'm happy to say that I think we've taken some of the burden off Athre these days, but yes, for a while there she was the key reason for our exceptional response to withdraw requests.
I'm not condemning DBANK here, I want them to succeed. I'm hoping your involvement will help them in that respect. I also agree with your assessment and would go so far as to point out that one of DBANK's strengths is it's ability to weather the storm of criticism.
Also, I'm not going to belabor the point here; but you were an asset to EBANK when we had you, and I have full faith that you are and will be an asset to DBANK.
Anyway, I've voiced my concerns and my support. I hope DBANK remains a competitor of EBANK for a long time to come.

Fortunately with the newer teller process that is being implemented, you are an ideal candidate. The new system is not the honor system like eBank's. Dynasty bank realizes that it is foolish to ask all of you try simply trust anyone who could become a teller. And having been involved with eBank's tellering system, I have to admit there is significant risk in that tired old model. Especially to anyone who doesn't regularly check their accounts.

What I had to say to you was not emo nor crazy. It's what I honestly felt. But please, proceed to the nearest eBank forum and post our logs. I'm not ashamed of telling you off in the least. I'm quite proud of it.

Haven't we done this before?
If memory serves, the last time you two decided to duke it out on the forums it rapidly degenerated from you two taking swings at each other to every alt and troll in town taking the opportunity to sucker punch EBANK such that by the time the thread got locked everyone was too busy watching EBANK take a bruising to even notice which one of you had won.
You two are pillars of this community, petty bickering does not become you and sniping at each other helps no one but the trolls.

I assume that the new system will simply transfer isk between the debtor's and creditor's Dbank accounts / automatically create a new account.
I can see this working for Ebank... but Dbank?
