i dl half of it speed 23kb per sec need 10 more hour..just want to know is that normal speed for dl?

ok i cant patch this,always appears:"There was a temporary error downloading the required files"
dont know what to do,i tryed manualy but same error when i double click the patch.exe
so anyone has a solution for this?

what the hell is the test server for, these issues should be resolved befor deployment.
The same counts for me! - What was wrong with the old patching process anyway???
If you want to lower your traffic here's a tip: Use torrents! That would probably be faster, and lowers your traffic too! If, however, this new patching process is based on torrent im quite amazed how slow it can be!

Ok I'm not the most technical of computer users.
Any chance the instructions can be spelt out in english for us who are mentally challenged when it comes to understanding such vague instructions!!!
It might come as a shock to CCP, but some of us are just gamers who want to play a great game...... maybe its time to make things a bit more user friendly for us lame brains

well i only get 41kbs, so bit better than you but no it is very poor spped

Replaced those bulkdata, no use. "Temporary error downloading". On 2 boxes, 1 XP, 1 Fister, err, Vista.
Let me understand and say I'm ****ed.

hm..on my notebook i got the same error while downloading but on my gaming pc the download still works with 179kb... 2 hours.. am i the only one?

2 zip programs don't want to unzip it (can't read it). Downloading the file is gone clean my internet cap after 27 hours at 15kps. I don't like this at all I life in Africa! Think of us aswell!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Followed instrucctions; new bulkdata folder unziped and set at the right place, but the problem persist. Everytime I try to log in, at the "done procesing bulk data" step I get kicked out of the game, again.
Any new advice, please?

I sure hope this bulkdata file works for me since unfortunately, I have dail-up.
All of you are complaining about having a 10 hour or so download, lol. Try having 320 hours or more (72 hrs was my best at 8kb) and we all remember how unstable dial-up is.
I have 3 characters all collecting dust now and skills I should be switching. To think I just paid for 3 characters at the yearly rate, well if this doesn't work it will take the year to get the update, LOL.

I need direct link to 1.3G file on server support reget.
This installer start download from 0 if connection troubles.

dont dl this patch with diall up..i have this problem before 4 years..go to RL friend who play eve and make copy of patch on CD..

Ok im a bit different then most of you. IM using FIOS so it took me 10 minutes to dl the patch. The issue is when i go to play the game my laptop starts to jump the screen not he actual laptop. It will do this 5 or 6 times and then i get the blue screen of death and my puter restarts. anybody having the same issues?
When i first started it after applying the patch i played for about 5 minutes before thi started to happen.

No. Extract and replace into C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\
Otherwise you might end up with a bulkdata folder inside a bulkdata folder :-)

I mean after all we do pay your wages and would like to actually be able to get back to laying EVE sometime soon..... Oh and if my 4 day skill is done before I am able to get back to the game could you put another skill on for me..... preferably a learning one!!!
