I dunno what's going on with my patch, I've downloaded it several times and the 'EVE Online Update' runs - and I get this -::
Output folder: C:\Users\AppData\Local\Temp\nskD2A3.tmp Extract: patchw32.dll... 100% Output folder: C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE Current version 75883 Output folder: C:\ProgramData\CCP\EVE\Downloads Extract: ccp_empty.txt Delete file: C:\ProgramData\CCP\EVE\Downloads\ccp_empty.txt Output folder: C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE Checking for BITS support Initializing COM Creating download job
And then - nothing.... Just sits there, and it has been for over an hour now !!
Any ideas at all ??

INSTEAD... put up a message: "Haveing issues with the recent patch, downtime extended due to this, Thanks for being patient"
BUT
Since we ARE paying Customers... We want service... and service does indeed not come cheap. BUT we pay for a game to play it... not to sit and freagine bite of our arm or tongue being ****ed of on the fact that you don't tell us anything about whats going on. SO... Are we going to get something for this little problem? Free day to play eve? or anything good enough in-game? For hell... i want to be compensated on atleast the hours it takes for this patch to start work again... and now i've bin waiting since 1600pm as u sad... still not working

well yeh thats unfortunate, I was lucky enough to download the patches several hours ago before the european peak time. But I know Id rather they spend money on development, rather than upgrade deployment. Its always hell for the first 24 hours, then things calm down.

i've only got a 3 gb limit per month. i can't even download this as i'll be screwed for the rest of the month. because of the size, i'm done playing until july now. luckily i have friends who can change my skill training. thanks a lot ccp.

i get wrong version every time even after downloading the bulk file didnt work tryed redownloading client didnt work...HELP We all die one day, the only thing that matters is what we do with the time given to us.

Hey Everyone hows it Goin! So i uninstalled Eve and installed the Premuim Graphic Content! Even though i installed it, the content itself doesnt turn on unless your computer can support it! The Patch itself works aslong as u have the premuim on your computer! most of the premuim download patch link on the 9 other pages works fine! Download and install to your Eve Folder! Hope this helps!

usual crap from ccp. they dont care what anyone go's through to update the game. they have done their bit and now it is up to the paying people to get it sorted. so anyway as always im missing game play and ccp give no customer service as always. same every time. i love the game but hate the fact they cant test it properly b4 they launch a patch

I dunno, but since some files needs to be written into windows/vista/linux what ever... then i gotta have some space... so if ur op is in C: then u need atleast 1,6gb free diskspace there to... if it still dont work try to free up 1,6GB on all ur C:, D: G: etc etc and try again, might work

did i see 2500 online WOW well i bet we have 15-20000 tryin to download still at 25 kbs it will take till tomorrow ... its been 5 hours already and only have 20% done EVE EXEC'S GIVE ME SOME DAMN INFOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (or i find you in game and shoot you) lol

Yet again the ccp maestro's fail to organise properly. Patches cant be found, installs dont! This is even worse than the last one and it seems with even more issues needing resolving. Not very professional. No excuses. They know everyone has to update or no eve, so why the people responsible did not make sure that it would work have proper links to download from. Their failing means after speding over four hours downloading the update I now find myself having to download the entire client again. All the rest is bad language, I'm fed up with all the **** from this useless website

Yeah... if u page back to uhm... page 8 i think. there is a patch... it brings u from classingtopremium it stands but its the PREMIUM LITE version... not the Premium version u could download before the patch.... the lite version is an advanced version of classic... giving stuff from premium but keeping it lite for thoose with a not so good computor

no there is no classic. read the patch notes. they done away with it and are now calling it premium light. i also wont be able to use this as i have an old comp. they seem to think we are all rolling in money

Bin downloading the patch from that "BIG ONE" patch link that was sent earlier..
Works fine still, bin downloading for 23 minutes and im at 29% steady at 350-430 Kb/s

If you have the old mac client or were using classic on the PC download the entire client. This will save you time in the long run. The Bulk data is a issue of the patched client not connecting to the server and downloading that data. The bulk data will not patch your client nor start the autopatch. Classic PC users once you download the client at the login screen you can hit esc and change some of the settings to make it run better.
Mac users if you are have FPS issues try turning off some of the effects and dropping the shader settings, hopefully this will improve as they work with transgaming to improve the experience.

Full content and part content! just install the premuim Client! then download and install the patch! the premuim graphic portion only works if your computer can support it!( meaning your premuim content will give u options per your computer abilities)

Meh. The source of that problem turned out to be between my ears. 
I NTFSlinked the wrong folder. Now it's DLing at least.
With all due respect for CCP I humbly have to point out... it would have been DAMN NICE if we wouldn't have had to find this out on our OWN.

Well I have sat here most of the afternoon Nearlly got the download once then it just decided to remove itself. I dont think I have ever dl anything so slow.
we who cant afford big flashy things and are thick as pig S**t will just be left to follow stupid solutions which are way beyond people who do work on other jobs than computers.
I want it so I press a button and it works. I am sooooo fed up that I have to sit here for another x amount of hours
Gripe over ... I think CCP atually do a great job "cept for Patch day "

If you get a "temporary error" again, like some said previously, don't faint or run away screaming, click on "repeat" (or however that button is labeled in English ). Worked for me just seconds ago.

so in a other forum there was help for the problem with the downloaded small file.
you have to go to your service settings(services.msc) and aktivate background transfer then this small file(940kb) will beginn download the files. Kel Ma Kree Sha'shan Kel Me Ta'i Or'tani Kel Han'dai Iti Sha' Shan Handi
