pkp	Posted - 2009.03.13 00:17:00 - [1] first group to run across us in local wins have slave sets etc... set of people stuck in a wormhole have probes but the system has 5000+ signatures....say something in local if u make it into a wormhole....we will literally give u 4bil isk and the ships we currently fly for an exit to 0.0 high sec or low sec....just trying to save pods atm since ccp's view on this is "we hope to lose customers"

So you have a ship with probes and a launcher? Why aren't you hunting down a WH yourselves. say something in local if u make it into a wormhole.... and promptly get hunted down and popped

If they spend just 5 minutes to scan every single signature down assuming that somehow they can avoid scanning the same signature again (which is impossible right now) they would spend 3 years scanning.

I jumped through a WH from a 0.7 space, after say 5 minutes, a person in local asked if anyone has found anything. no one replied. again about 5 minutes later the same message. still, no one responded. then a message, asking if anyone can help him. i was still scanning and cloaked and ask with what. he was out of probes and forgot to bookmark the exit.. ok, i can buy that, since i forgot to bookmark my exit once before. after seeing a -5 status toward my alliance. i warped to the exit and cloaked and hit the gas,, then invited him to my fleet and he warped to me. he did offer to pay me, but i to;d him no need too, i was happy to help. i was very nervous but all worked out ok.

Hunt me down in my SS while I'm cloaked? Even if you are lying, you aren't going to catch someone who knows what they're doing anyway. Well, off to scan since I needed a reason to go do it anyway. Got some things to test. But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started.

Not an alt or anything (which btw I am, but that is of no concern to you). Not baiting people, no way. Go choke on something and die (in game). Not because of the act of baiting but because you fail at it. If you are serious about you being stuck there and serious in thinking of offering 4bil ISK, at least come across as being genuine. No matter what you wanted to achieve from this post, it fails either way.

A risk-free solution for you is to BM the wormhole for him, move it into your cargohold, then jump to one of the planets and jettison the BM. Convo him privately and let him know where the jetcan it is located. An extremely safe solution for all is to drop a named jetcan at the wormhole that will give him a starting location to begin probing the wormhole himself (which means, always carry a little ammo with you). ---------------- Mutatis Mutandis
Aeo IV Amarr Xomic OmniCorporation	Posted - 2009.03.15 14:32:00 - [20] The wormhole you can out of is marked on your map, withdraw your probes and look closely, it's labeled, but you won't be able to warp to it-- however, you will be able to quickly rescan out this wormhole. On the other hand, if you collapsed your wormhole, the only thing you can do is wait, sent one person to every planet and keep directionally scanning until you see someone.
