Now Im sure you cannot dispute the fact that the main drive in EVE's economy these days is Tech 2 research and manufacture. Its the main money spinner and be you an agent runner, a researcher, manufacturer, miner or fighter you all would like a Tech 2 BPO to call your own.
That was my goal, to own my own Tech 2 BPO and begin to produce something for the masses ....and of course get rich doing so.
For approximately 5 months now I have been visiting my agent and doing mind numbing 'missions' for him. Everything seemed fine for me, a relative agent noobie. Besides accepting missions the only option he gave me was 'Take my research elsewhere' ...well he seemed a fine chap so why would I do that ?? Every thing seemed fine.
NOW , forgive me Im wrong but if your research agent gives you missions to further the research and gives only other option of taking your research elswhere you'd think he was busy working away ...WOULDN'T YOU ??
Although I know this is going to get locked I dont give a **** because Im about to go postal on the utterly retarded and unhelpful GM's:
I filed a petiton because I noticed under agent info he was not displaying how many RP points I had acrued in these months. I was adamant it was just a display bug:

Am I being unreasonable or is this the admittance of a bug and the worst possible offer of compensation ever  .

Crud.
Didn't you notice it earlier though that you were not getting RP?
If this was your first RD agent then it's understandable that you didn't spot it right away.
It's pretty ****ty though, they should be able to calculate approximately how many research points you should have, as for BPs then they can't calculate that since it's a lottery.

You're right, thats a complete screw up. I think you deserve your research points back. If it was their fault, the agent was bugged, you should definitely be reimbursed for that.
btw, GM conversations arent allowed to be posted.
But still, he said that the agent was bugged for you. I doubt you'll get a tech 2 BPO because of this - but when your RP's are reimbursed, which I personally hope they are, you will have a big shot at getting one due to all the RP's you would accrue in 4 months.
actually, before you go ballistic, did you talk to your agent again? Maybe you *did* get your RP's back.

 Damn that does suck. CCP really should do soemthing to comensate you, especially after admitting that the agent was bugged!
CCP DO WHATS RIGHT!! Compensation of skill points is the least you can do.

In my opinion that GM should be fired and another GM should look again at your petition and calculate the Research Points you should have earned the last 5 months, if they can not calculate the RP's then you should get either t2 BPO or about 2 Billion ISK as compensation.
This totally sucks man and I feel for your loss and I would not be surprised if you would quit the game to be honest
