You needed three accounts active with ships in system to get (into position for) the kill. Those ships are of consequence since without them you would not have got the kill. The beacon does not suck and does not need to be removed. The beacon was placed there for a reason: to prevent people in covops getting cheap kills by breaking the tank of someone engaged with NPCs in mission space. Killing someone in mission space is not a solo kill - you have the help of a room full of NPCs.

Golem with t2 rigs and full faction gear. I was doing 1300dps and barely denting his tank and yeah his "mission setup" included a scrambler and ecm drones Most of my fights have been non-mission ships. My favorite was my ferox vs maelstrom and 2 hurricanes dueling outside a station. I suprised them, killed one ship and escaped. Ganking Buddhist Nun

The first thing you need to learn about soloing is - choose your fights wisely. by chosing your fights wisely means that you don't engage anything that can be possibly above you. so no, you cannot be the best one until I see you go against odds, and win. and by going against odds I mean, you in a noob ship, them in a titan, in a 10vs1 situation. ok exaggerated, but you get the point. oh and you + your alts, does not equate in "solo pvp" btw.

Probing out mission runners which are already under significant NPC fire and killing them is hardly difficult, all you need to do is hit a different damage type or just activate one neut. That you need 3 chars just to find a target is even more fail, there's such a thing as bookmarking. Cloaking in missions has always been buggered due to the high amounts of objects that can decloak you. You're better than someone if you face them in a somewhat equal 1v1 fight without NPCs helping you out and you manage to beat the guy. Having the NPCs do all the work for you hardly makes you better than them. Go to low-sec, hit Amamake III - Asteroid Belt I and try and get some kills there without getting ganked, then you might end up being better than someone.

So really, your alts are doing all the work, the only thing left for you to do is go in and shoot at it, which is about as challenging as shooting a single rat npc. There you have it, serious PvP skill. Even 10v1 takes more skill than that, at least in 10v1 you could potentially mess up by clicking the wrong person and shooting a gang mate instead (if you're that bad at EVE). Shooting a mission runner that's tackled, you just can't screw that up, sooner or later you're bound to accidentally turn on your guns and kill him.
