I am tired of Jerks (yes it is that word again, but if the shoe fits...) who feel that their version of the game is the only thing that matters. I for one do not prefer PVP but the economy, industrial and combat system (against NPC's) is fun. I am asking the forum mods to remove people who recommend other people go play another game thereby diminishing the already small playerbase of Eve. Usually it is the new players that get this treatment, the players on who the future of the game rests. It is wrong for someone to tell another person to stop playing the game and I believe it is in the best intrests of CCP to entice new players to stay; having "jerks" tell them to go play something else does not endear newbies to stay. So if we report them, please give them a short (week or two) ban for trying discourage new players from playing.

You're assuming that 1) the person (who has to go back to WoW) will take the advice and 2) the person (who has to go back to WoW) actually likes playing EVE (which I'd say is not true, else they wouldn't be whining).

I think I'll report you — with some luck, you'll be banned for trying to discourage me from playing the game.
It works both ways, you know, and if you don't like the freedom others have, then you can start by giving up your own. ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

tl;dr
It's wrong for ppl to tell me how to play this game and what to say on the forums. I believe all people who tell me how to play/post should have their posting rights revoked.
yeah a little twisted but this way the problem with this argument is a bit more obvious (I'll give u a clue, it's got something to do with hypo's).

Short version: There are jerks in real life. Why are you surprised there are on forums?
Most players avoid the forums on the basis that most of it is a sewer and contains much of the same contents as one. You'll find people in-game far more helpful on average.
No, banning is not the answer. People get passionate about their style of gameplay, and often are too narrow minded to see other people's. Frankly, does it matter? The only real issue is whether CCP remember everyone's playstyle, and so far they seem to do a pretty good job. Ignore the jerks, and remember that if you act like them, you've become them, and if you don't, you're better than they are, and thus their replies are meaningless.
Forums are a nice buffered way to insult people long distance and get some existential angst off your chest. Psychologically it's an extension of MMOs and other online games - discourteous people will say all the stuff they'd like to say in real life but dare not. Here there are no limitations and no consequences. Bullies & cowards can do what they want. Spending time in the forums is part of accepting that, sadly. ___ My views may not represent those of my corporation, which is why I never get invited to those diplomatic parties... Isn't the OP the same person who's currently Brooklyn raging over someone not being nice to her ingame in New Players? Also she wants a PvP flag in a PvP game.
I've got news for you, most of the GB2W comments are to established players who are trolling, don't understand Eve, even after playing for years, or people like Neo Omni who want to turn Eve into their preferred game. Nobody says that in New Players who doesn't want to get a world of hurt put on them by the vets who encourage new players to join the game, unless it is justly deserved, as this would be if it were posted there.
I'm going to be constructive in saying that this game isn't for you. You don't like risk. That's pretty much clear from your posting history, which involves a fair bit of stalking, if I may say so. You're basically trying to equate new players to helpless fools who can't think for themselves. If they see someone write a comment like "Go back to Wow" and are offended by it, chances are they won't enjoy this game. So is it really doing any harm to them? But if they can think, and understand why the comment was written that way, they'll probably enjoy Eve. You know, thinking for themselves. But you don't want that. You want them to be mindless sheep who follow everything you say as gospel. Heaven forbid they think for themselves, as you're obviously right and anyone who disagrees with them is an evil hater.

Wrong game, hello kitty online is that way
If you don't like it play another game. The door is over there.
And don't let it hit you on the way out.

Some people are in the wrong game. Deal with it. It's no shame; it's not even an insult.
If you saw an 8-year old girl in a wheelchair asking for the rules of professional American Football to be changed so that she could "enjoy playing it her way", what advice would you give?
If the idea of a dark, dangerous space sim with FFA PvP and a harsh death penalty doesn't appeal, then there might just be the slightest possibility that some other game than EvE would be appropriate, no?

I actually agree with Ms Delirium for once.
Sometimes a player suggesting that there might be other games that better suit your wants and desires, is actually a helpful bit of constructive criticism. They're merely trying to tell you that EvE might not be the game you REALLY want to play, and if it makes you so upset and/or angry, your $15 a month would probably be spent elsewhere.
Let's be honest ... can you blame them for defending the game that they very much enjoy and like to play, when you suggest changes which would take that enjoyment away? Changes which, if done, would fundamentally alter the game from what it is into something else? Changes to mechanics which you could get in almost any other MMO?
Sometimes, saying 'go back to WoW' is just our way of trying to be nice.

You should definitely make a lot of posts about how you don't like the game.
You should probably use the word 'jerks' more too. Vocabulary is so overrated!
