CCP nerfs sec status max down to 5 while keeping the -10 floor. CCP uses mechanics such as gate guns and "police" to discourage those with a low sec status from entering high sec. Carebears who dont understand game mechanics as they are now whine- seem to think hi sec should be immune to all forms of attack. Suicide gank mechanics need a Buff- not a nerf! T2 ships should be insurable at a sane rate. Concord response times should be lowered. Any afk miner should be destroyed by the rampaging hordes of pirates. Or at the very least orcas should be cheaper so pirates have an affordable option to sneak into high sec

We typically run defense on our mining ops. We also don't get bothered a whole lot(we do some, but far less than most miners we see). Newsflash, easy targets are the first to get hit. Being a pirate is a business, like any other it's risk vs reward. a high sec hulk or three are likely to be fitted with far better loot than the null-sec version and less defensive measures are likely to be taken. Thus the loss of a couple t1 cruisers for the loot of a fitted out hulk is definitely going to be worth it. I say it's less fair than real-world pirating throughout history. Like the cops are going to ever get there that fast? It's a known risk, dress accordingly.

Thanks for the complements. As for the rest- I haven't been podded by a hostile in, well, in so long that I can't remember the last time. Actually, I think I was suiciding some Megathrons in KBP and I got podded a few times (no implants however), but that was 0.0... Anyhoo, I welcome the idea of a new bunch of targets, er, adversaries to enjoy the game with. Cheers =)
