But more importantly, WHAT will be the punishment for those caught with it? This should be clearly stated, and followed through 100% without exceptions when the cheats are caught. Those of us that are too honest to sink to such exploits, should know we are honest with a good cause. Admiral IceBlock	Posted - 2004.09.28 13:34:00 - [7] i dont see this as a exploit, i see it as a workaround! ccp hasnt done ** about the lag, all the lag fixes make the lag worse. since ccp cant do about it, this is just another workaround so they can yet again enjoy eve without massive lag. there is not many mmo-rpg's, infact there is none that i have heard of that the players is so **** up about the lag that they simply remove the models. maybe its time that ccp really take the lag issue more serious?! i mean, after all these lag fixes, i still think that eve was a lot more lag free before then it is now. Second, CCP does need to work hard at reducing lag cause there is little use to introducing teambased pvp and pve content if the server cant handle all these teams doing it. Lastly, I expect the punishment for those found out to be about the same as for those found to be using macros, shortly said: non-existent.

CCP should either make it an option in the graphics options, or take away the ability to use it, and SEVERELY punish those that do. In a fleet of 30 vs 30 battle, non vheaters would lose 5 ships, to a force that has already done its killing and warped away to safe spots. Whilst the lag is bad, it is an absdolute MUST that it is the same lag for all parties as far as CCP can effect it. Its cheating. well problem with exploits like marco mining and this model thing is that CCP has really big problems catching the cheaters i know some macro miners, petitioned them, nothing happened cause thy cant see anny suspicios in their logs when this is the same log used to anwswer my other petitions, no wonder only result i ever seen is when you petition someone for harrasment and make Screenshots of it Wanna fly with me?

I mean whenever im in a big fleet battle I either get a hell of a lot of lag, or its quite playable indeed. I just basically want to know what gives you the impression that a 3rd party is using/has the ability to remove the render of ship models in space so only the brackets are visible?
