Yes I got the drift of your oppositions "Modus Operandi" earlier in the thread, to be expected Tbh.
Good luck attracting a cool crowd and achieving your goals.

you say im no good at pvp, if this is the case, why did no one ever come at me 1 vs 1 ? why come at me 20 vs 1? why come at me with 3 carriers vs a normal ship? or when they did come at me 1 vs 1 why didnt they come at me with similarly matched ships in the same class for a fair fight? why sneak up on me when im ratting?
This is the sad point, your view of PVP havent changed much since you probably /duel your WoW toon at Ironforge bank. Looks like 3 years in Stain were not enough to learn, that PVP in 0.0 is a little different thing.
Quote:
Anyway, this is destiny, and i cant be stopped, ive looked on the Alliance rankings, and stain empire is only 451 strong, subtract inactive and part time players and ur only looking at an alliance with 200 members, if 300 people came down from empire what exactly could stain empire do?
Have a field day with their 7 titans ? Or maybe invite 18 more from AAA to join the fun?
Your ignorance in questions of 0.0 PVP is indeed, terrifying.
I mentioned above successful persons by names, maybe you should consult them, create your own corp and join the fun, instead of hugging undock and crying about always being alone.
OK, I think I spent enough of my most valuable resource PR-ing this thread. Lets go out and see, what will happen.

Stain empire is getting there arses handed to them and losing sov. Its a bad thing really cause they will fallback to NPC space.

Progress Update:
Stain empire attacked us alongside one of their system renters, it was quite a determined attack with about 12 stain empire members, at peak times we have about 15 of us in Hub Zero.
It was difficult to do anything with them in the system, as they were hanging around for most of the day.
My plan was to attack the actual people behind the stain empire characters, i achieved this by requesting all the hub zero members get into frigates, yes you read it correctly frigates. I undocked in my super tanked drake, went safe and cloaked, and asked the hub Zero members to do the same.
Every 5 minutes i warped to a belt tanked the rats and all the hub zero members came in and finished of the rats. The funny thing is that they still earned the same amount of money as if they were in a battleship or battlecruiser, and they killed the rats quite quickly in frigates.
Stain empire were going crazy, putting up probes to scan us out warping to all the blts to find us, after about 2 hours they caught up with us with an interdictor, as i was about 85km away from belt tanking, they found it difficult to get me as i was alligned.
They put up the bubble and got 2 of our frigates, i replaced those frigate losses myself with no cost to the Hub Zero members. and we continued.
What i did was attack Stain Empire through Psychology, is it really worth them hanging around all day just to get a few frigate kills that can be easily replaced? The answer is no.
The next day they didnt bother with us, one of the stain empire system renters came in and docked up all day, but we continued to rat and had a great day.
Today is quiet again, so the members are just out ratting,

Things are going verry well at the minute, weve got about 15 very active pilots here all contributing to the economy,
Id like a few more of the people who have responded to come down and really make somthing of this.
What is important is that CCP feels there are too many people in hi sec 90% of us the last time i heard, at the moment im trying to lock onto about 1% to 2% of the high sec pilots and get them down here, there will be lots of oppertunity for market sales, mining, ratting, and security,
Managing this has been great so far and ive recieved lots of support from all the guys down here.
Hope to see you soon.

I've generally not had much reason to want to have anything to do with 0.0 because of the horror stories I've read about it: the insane politics, the feeling of being just a mindless drone in a huge hive designed to make money for the few at the top, the loss of individual freedom, blob warfare and ultimately not being able to make any difference in the face of the well-established power blocs. I'm probably one of the main targets of the taunts of "carebear" and "nerf L4 mission rewards" heard from the hardcore forum warriors. I play Eve to relax, not to be a pawn. I have a RL and precious little time to waste on alliance drama, so I've taken a pass on 0.0 even though I've gotten to the point of being bored with high sec. I also have little experience in PVP, but would like to learn more. To me this sounds like a win-win scenario; ex-Empire players making a living and having shoot em up fun while creating a populace for Aaron to sell his goods to. Sounds like a good deal all around to me! So why the hate from the big alliance folks? Having more peeps out in the wilderness should be good for all right? Or could it be that you only want to protect the status quo and enjoy the monopolies you now feel you're entitled to? Could it be that you know that if this idea catches on and more players migrate to 0.0 that your hegemony will be destroyed as the flood of new players overwhelms you?
I have no dog in this fight and don't really care one way or another. I'm happy to remain in Empire making isk and doing what I've been doing. But it seems a bit disingenuous that all you alliance apologists on the one hand criticize people for "empire hugging" while in the same breath criticize guys like Aaron who do something to make the game better (and make some iskies for himself at the same time).
Good on you Aaron. I wish you all the luck in the world. What Eve needs more of is guys like you taking the fight to the big boys. |

You realise that only 1 alliance - Stain empire - is criticising this? While people from eg: just about every other alliance are all for it (assuming it's not some complex scam). Myself specifically. I think Aaron's project to get people out of empire and give living in 0.0 a try is god damb awesome. I personally hope that his project grows until it becomes as established as EvE Uni or Agony Unleashed. I realise that there's a 99% chance it'll eventually collapse into drama and fail within a few weeks, but it's great that he's at least making the attempt. Where other people - including me - have spoken about the desirability of getting more people into 0.0, he's doing something about it.

Let me just say now that I Admire Aaron and the rest of the Hubzero, i read this thread all 10 pages, and must say it's really an amazing thing to see happening.
The fact they keep having to try to pounce on Aaron just shows that their afraid of whats happening... and hubzero will continue to grow i believe it's capitalism at its best when it comes down to it. And the fact that aaron is defending those that comes down truely shows that he is a person of great character.
People early in the thread b*tched that he was just making ISK in droves, and to be honest i believe he is, but the fact is as long as hes doing what he says he is, he deserves it, he's working to make something great, and hes defending it and the people that join him. If he's sitting their risking big ass cap ships to defend everyone then damn it its a worthy cause and definitely worth the slightly higher prices.
0.0 will never be safe I haven't moved down yet, but plan to because well thats where the real MMO fun is at. I'm in a small corp, they probably ownt be moving down soon, but i'm definitely looking to get a clone down to visit aaron and help out/hang out.
For the newbies, no this isn't 100% safe, its nullsec it will never be 100% safe even in NRDS areas, because thats where the pirates go. But the fact you have quality people like aaron trying to make it a better place is a great thing.
Aaron, one day they'll cyno in 4 carriers on top of you, and think they've won and you'll have your "little noob hubzero friends" jump in your own capital defensive.
Thats the thing with eve, it's only a matter of time before even noobs become big time pilots!
Aaron please hit me up ingame, as i'm definitly interested in coming down to visit.

I find it kind of stupid that no other alliances have chimed in on this, i mean is Staind the only alliance within earshot of HubZero? Wud be nice to get an alliance on the hubzero side, even if on unofficial terms, i mean their has to be some alliances that just generally want a larger nullsec population.

You have to realise that it's in NPC space and therefore only of direct interest to other alliances in the region. And Stain is a big region, so really only alliances in that part of Stain. Why would any other alliance get involved, even assuming that they care more than "yeah that's pretty cool I guess", when there's no reason to believe that the project is seriously threatened? Dont confuse approval with committing serious assets against a strong alliance like SE.
And actually, a "real" 0.0 alliance joining with the project would probably do much more harm that good. At the moment, the Hubzero project is non-aligned in The Great Game of 0.0 politics. Their best protection is to stay that way, at least for a while. If Stainwagon had to take Aaron & co seriously, then they'd quickly slaughter them.
