I had enquired about this little venture(page 5 post 149 )... and to say the least was very sceptical. I am and have been, well, welcomed with open arms. Ye.. shocking... Iv known Eve as a safe place for several months,(Empire)grinding away doing the odd mission ore two, well maybe more than just a few, but to get given the option to 0.0...
My butt cheaks twitched.....
0.0.. well... do i give it a go.. or spend more time grinding level 4s in empire.
I decided to take minimal risk and go in a frig to test the water. I followed instructions given.
Well... id say i was shocked at how fast my progresion had evolved in Eve but well... Id followed the instuctons.
Im here.. and have had alot of support from ChinChiny and others that are already here /those still arriving. So far im very pleased with the experience.

Edited by: Aaron on 02/09/2009 02:00:21 Weve reached new levels, the level of skill down here is amazing, so many pilots that can do different roles, im astounded by all of this.
For all of you that responded u really must come down ASAP theres real opportunity here,
Right now im shipping stuff down to uf-kkh by carrier, ships, modules, skills for all our buddys down here. Im very exited about all of this, its given me a new reason for playing eve.
Looking at our intelligence channel its amazing to see u all getting along so well, its like youve known each other for years.
This is destiny people, we cant be stopped, and will continue to grow from strength to strength.
Im looking forward to being contacted by ccp and all of this appearing on the news channel, Ultimatley it is the eve community that is responsible for the success of this venture, for that i am eternally grateful.
Thank you eve community for all your support.

Dont let this guy scare you with his fancy limmericks and sociopathic demeanor. I will admit Stain Empire are a powerful group of people and are good at PVP.
The reality is, how much of their fleet can they assign to keeping us at bay? If they decided to camp us 23/7 how would that affect other operations they have elsewhere in the universe? If there are hundreds of us, in caps, battleships, and other ships types, would it be feasable for them to fight us?
Managing an alliance is a difficult job, If lots of us come down and get to work here they will never be able to camp us all the time.
Stain Empire are a very unreasonable Alliance, they press their system renters very hard to provide cap ships and isk for their war efforts.
The short term goal for us is simply to keep Stain Empire at bay, so we can get a chance to collect resources and amass a large cap fleet. Stain empire is just one alliance standing in our way, I dont even think their allies are very keen to help them, and they'd probably be quite happy for stain empire to simply dissapear.
Ive heard many stories about stain empire, The one that caught my attention is, they rented a system to another alliance, once that alliance got too big, stain empire attacked them and destroyed them. After all they had done for stain empire this is how they were treated.
At the moment Stain empire are using one of their system renters to hassle us, these people are Wings Of Turul, they only have about 10 active pilots and 1 cap ship, with careful planning and co-ordination Wings Of Turul can be taken out very easily.
Im in this for the long haul.

If you consider every pilot fits a cyno on it good at PvP then I suppose they are "decent". I have been dealing with stain empire and stainless for a couple years now and they don't know how to pvp. They know how to hotdrop...when it gets to the point they hotdrop your cruisers then you know they are bored. Best way to deal with them is to avoid them. Last fight I had with them I was in a manticore and a buddy of mine was in a iskhur, we tackled a curse and he hotdropped 3 carriers on us.

Contrary to popular believe, there isn't just noobs with us. The pilots counted amoungst us range from a wide spectrum of experience. The Older Vet's teach and protect the newer players and inturn the newer players either join the more established corps or reprocess whatever drops they can't use or sell and fill mineral buy orders of the more established pilots. A symbiotic relationship that has made all parties involved quite bit of ISK. Of course other's just keep to themselves, which is fine aswell. Greater numbers are good for all reguardless. It's not altruism...it's business.

If I just showed up with my main in the system would I be taken in? I'm a bit leery about opsec and don't usually share my movements in 0.0. I will contact you in the next day or so with my main to learn a bit more about your operation.

"Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset hates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lighting, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore,
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

You mean. So you can consume their corpse.
Quote: in one system I have built a market with approx 12 billion in sell orders, every T1 ship up to battlecruiser is available, and other ships can be built on request, or shipped into 0.0. Almost every t1 module is available in abundance.

The fact the local alliance feels the need to post in this thread speaks volumes for what is being done down there. If you're interested in 0.0 (and won't rage quit when you lose a ship) get down there and experience it. Hell i'd be down there myself only I've gone WH crazy these last few weeks, but I'm impressed from what I've seen in the channel.
