Thank you Aaron for your invitation. I will definitely come to Hub Zero and see if it is really my cup of tea and whether I'm up to it. I will also bring some friends.
Not right now though. We are really new players (only a few weeks old) and need to at least learn some more skills and accumulate a little starting capital. Especially with the war going on and all those griefers in the system.
We will probably be ready in a couple of weeks. I hope Hub Zero will only grow stronger in the meantime

Someone mentioned mining. The rocks down in UF- are pretty terrible to be honest. It's like Kernite and the higher sec ores if I remember correctly. But there is some nice ice down there. I imagine you'd get people buying the ice, but I'm not sure.
But saying that, the buy orders Aaron set up are pretty nice and there's a whole lot of ore for the taking. Of course you could just wait for a wormhole to open up in-system and mine the grav sites that (hopefully) spawn inside.

What you consider fair we consider precautionary. As hot drops and ganks sitting in the next system are rampant. We have to protect our best interests when possible.
P.S. My left eye had a seizure when I viewed that KB. It is not my favorite or one I care to look at again.

I've made the move to Hub Zero, and I've found the area quite interesting, and advice people to give it a try if you are at all interested. Moving to the area was really easy, and getting a ship with regular T1 fittings wasn't a problem.
We are lacking meta items and T2 stuff, but I understand that there are people who take orders and will jump things into the system to sell to you. However, any T2 provider would be able to make a pretty penny if he/she were to put up some sell orders in the system.
For those who enjoy the challenge, you can build up your gear from the rats in the area. Makes for a very nice RPG feel that's sometimes lacking in EVE.
The local bad guys have been fairly quiet in the 2 days I've spent in the system during the US timezone evenings. The gang here is constantly in motion, so safety isn't an issue.
Overall, I'm very happy with my decision to move. I haven't had this much fun in a long time playing EVE. High sec corps haven't shown me this kind of teamwork and social interaction. You don't have people thrown about all over the universe doing their own thing, people are always about and willing to let you join in with them. Truly a wonderful experience and I hope more people will come down and give it a shot.

Nah, we don't care about losing ships. Its about being zerged by more ships, If we knew that you guys would only bring a few we would match that and have epic fights all day. But alas no one bring just a few, and what you see is not always what you get. So we have to protect the fairness of the fight.

Hot drops all day. Today WoTS tried to collaborate with Stain Empire an set up a hotdrop. The only thing stain empire lost was the fuel costs for 12 cap ships jumping. Way to go stain... may i sell you some isotopes?

Do you guys have ships for all races down there? I can only pilot Amarr ships, and my friends use Gallente and Caldari ships I think.

When you refer to GMT timezone, what GMT times do you think of? I am from Europe but I often play during the night so I may count as a US player

Progress Update
Its been a tough week with a few ship losses, the enemies are starting to lose ships also as our PVP tactics improve.
Wings of Turul are constantly in our system, we plan to make it extremly uncomfortable for them, they have realised we are actually more powerful than them. all they really do is waste their time by hanging around all day.
The guys that have come down to live here are having a great time and have learnt alot about PVP, all of them are soldiers and plan to fight alongside me till the bitter end.
It is important that the guys who have not yet come down understand that we have made the system reasonably safe, lots of oppertunity exists here.
Ive recently invested 2 billion isk in t2 manufacture, and its going very well.
This epic venture has gone much further than i originally thought it would, we need to reinforce our position by more getting more hisec pilots to come down and be part of the community.
We still need pilots for the GMT time period.

I've had a busy last two weeks since you accepted me in.
I'm trying to raise 50mil before I head out that way so I can have enough to fit a decent rigged Vexor for ratting.
Problem is, I haven't had time to run the L4 missions to do so.
I'm hoping tomorrow (Saturday) to be able to run the missions and head out there (I only need 40mil more.)
I'm a US CST player.

If u came down now, you wold make alot of isk, the system is clear of all enemies around your time period. I actually envy the US guys a bit. come down get in a cruiser and fleet up with the dudes. youll make alot.

Ratting is more "busy life" friendly than missioning.
Log in -> warp to belt -> kill spawn & make a quick 3-5 mill -> warp to safe spot & log
Pro-TipÖ: Always log at a personal safe spot at least 9 AU and preferably more than 14.5AU from any planet, station or gate. Getting camped into a station is bad.

My problem is RL time too, else I'd already be there. I can barely play at all. This weekend travelling, then a few days at home, then a week on vacation. Not too bad really, only for EVE
(I have a netbook but that's only useful for logging in and changing skills... 5 fps  )
