How am I supposed to get the best doggietags from the Amarr when the only good way to get a BS dog tag now is to do sabotaged mission, do I have to do missions for the amarr navy and then kill the sabotaged convoy in order to give them back to my original agent..? That would really suck in an IC perspective.
Also, how comes the amarr laser folks get to use many faction ships with their skills(Khanid, Sansha, Blood raiders) and minnies only use Angel, which I pointed out the trouble with on my other post above this?
There will be numerous new opportunities for these in Shiva. Level 4 missions have a strong tendancy to give out BS's f.ex.
Not all factions are created equal. Sounds like the skill issue is one such inequality. But I really can't answer for the low level content details.

Federation Navy --> Federate Issue Megathron
Will that be one of the top end rewards, considering there are Caldari Navy Ravens..?
There will be a Gallente equivalent of the Caldari Navy Raven in the gallente offer pool. I don't know exactly what BS type it'll be, as the content folks aren't done with their stuff, but I'd assume that it would be some cool Megathron.

Ok how the hell have you got over 1000 dogtags?? I have a 9.12 Standing with Caldari Navy, and i have LESS than 100 Assorted Gallante Navy dogtags, and ive done ALOT of agent missions, All for Secutirty! 95% of my Missions involve blowing somthing up! I hope this Dogtag thing dosent turn into the Tech II components, where some people get more than others and the prices go stupid on the market

Ahh, this all reads so nice. Finally a reason to stick with your agent and perchance a reason for me to seek out my old Minnie agents again. Depending of course what my 'esteemed' gov't has planned.
Can't wait to get out of hybernation and back home again. These changes will really add some more spice to my profession!

yep that was the khanid officer punisher. I need me one of those for sure.
They are already offering a civilian version of that as one of the Assault Frigates you can buy in the market, the Vengeance.
Not with the medium guns of course.
Which also reminds me about guns mistmatched to ship types, like Sansha Underlords with large class lasers.

Attacking those ships are likely to decrease your Amarr Navy standing and therefore, I believe the chances of getting special offers.

Amarr folk is unlikely to fly any of these you mentioned as Amarr mission types generally lead the player against any of these types, including Khanid. Everytime you take on the Khanid Slave Trader mission and blow up one of those special Khanid Officer Puns and Slave Trader Arbitrators, you lose faction points to the Khanid.
Rather I suspect, Amarr folk are more likely to fly subfaction ships, not just Amarr Navy specials, but ships like Sarum like the Sarum Navy Captain, and those silver Sarum Omens (Sergeant General). Or those ships by Carthum, Viziam, and Ammatar.
Sarum is perhaps one of the most important subfactions within Amarr and I hope one day to fly a Sarum special Apocalypse.

Maybe there should be some fine tuning of the ship types you get to blow up on kill missions. So all agents dish out 50% pirate ships and 50% other empire faction ships.
But then again this could kill of trade with dogtags.
Would still be nice for pirate agent runners to get a ship with bounty from time to time. Seeing that some missions pirates now drop dog tags + have a bounty. Have yer cake and eat it n all.... |

How would your agent have a BPC of an enemy's faction ship?

Something have been bugging me for some time (since I heard that if Loyalty Points work well, the system might be applied to Research) in the last chat.
If you want to keep control on how many unique ships (or tech 2 bpo for example) are given out, how do you prevent someone from getting best skills and use all his time to max out LP (or RP for that matter) and instead of getting all the costy LP or RP items, grabbing every unique Low LP/RP Cost items leaving thoses with small LP/RP in the dust?
Because high LP might be more attractive but how do you prevent someone from grabbing like all the small (something) variante and getting a monopoly on them? |

As our big smurfy benefactor already pointed out elsewhere, you don'thave as much control of the "selection of goodies" -process as you seem to think.
Each *week*, you get *one* out of *several possible* offers at the upper range of the LP you have. You don't get to choose from the full range of offers, but can choose to say yes or no to *one single randomly chosen offer* each week. So you wouldn't be able to cherry-pick the way you describe.

Superb work, by the way. Really looking forward to playign with the new system.
By dogtags I am referring to various forms of tokens that drop when you kill certain pirates. Effectively it means you have to kill so-and-so-many pirates of a given category.
That's not quite what I meant. I currently have a hangar full of Minmater dogtags from the current agent missions. You've not actually mentioned what we're going to do with them at all. Can we turn them in for LPs or will they be part of the "requirements" that come from the agents for their LP rewards?
Offers generally come in the form that you provide your agent with X LPs and various other stuff, and the agent gives you something in return. Only rarely are the offers "gifts" where you only pay in LPs. Thus the dogtags would classify as various other stuff.
Hiya Papa.
Sorry to harp on about the Insignias and Dogtags but I've got another question.
Will multiple "offerings" be acceptable for each LP award? I ask because, having just killed a rare Minmatar Captain and grabbed "Kali Midez's Insignia" I am wondering if I will have to wait for an ultra-rare LP handout which will specifically ask for this one dogtag or if it will be usable for multiple awards?
