Lets see... on this character I have a long training plan of energy grid upgrades 5 + mechanic 5 + hull upgrades 5 + repair systems 5 + warp drive operation 5 + salvaging 5... then I respec... and then I do AWU to 5, Caldari BS to 5, and torps to 5. Yeah, pretty long XD
2nd alt: Salvaging to 5 (only because it's going to take me forever to get into a Golem first) and then Exhumers to 5
3rd alt: maxed out learnings, baby - just started 2nd of 5 of the advanced learning skills to 5.

Well, just doing a little Rank 1 guy right now, but my collective goal at the moment is to max out the Subsystems skill tree. I have 17 of the 20 skills to level 5. Almost done. Another 12 days or so. Was thinking about banging out my long-overdue Frigate level 5s after that.

This toon - been doing the Adv. Learning Vs as inclination and necessity permit. 2 down, 3 to go. Currently scheduled are Sentry Drone V (19 days), and probably after that Quantum Physics V (18 days), before I slot in another Learning skill.
1st Alt - just finished off the Adv. Learning Vs (yay!). Next up is Adv. Spaceship Command V (19 days).
2nd Alt - Exhumers V (16 days left), Ind. Comm. Ships V (31 days), Warfare Link V (25 days) Ugh...with any luck someone will buy her before I finish...

Drones to 5, for my alt. Drones to 5 opens up so many advanced drone skillz. Especially Drone Interfacing (+80% damage bonus at level 4!!!!) and Caldari Drone Specialization (so he can use T2 Hornets).
My main doesn't really need anything big. He's polishing off various minor skillz, such as Covert Ops to 4, Cloakin to 4, stuff like that.

Actually, I have 5 days left from Heavy Drone Operation V. It isn't that hard with +5s :P
After that I'll put in some basic "lol" skills, like multitasking I, Prop jamming IV (because of the stasis web II), and so on - please note that I have 32M skillpoints, so these skills are a must now.
And hmmm...T2 larges, or T2 sentries, or recon/hac V?
Skills over 2 week...well, they are suck if you are unpatient like me.

right now is maxing out my case shield tanking skills then shield compentsation skills.. followed up by remore logistics skills and then navigation skills so i dont have to work too hard on cap navigation skills.
basically the skills needed for support skilsl for most amarr ships.

I'd hop on those learning skills first thing. Barge V took me less than 17 days and my int/mem are a slightly higher than my per/wil. Would be beneficial in the long run at least.

I have been looking at Drone Durability 5 for over a year now... just couldnt sleep right till i got it done .It's just finished, and im starting to get fixated on Fighters 5 .
On my alt , I'm thinking of training 20 level 5's in a row , so my skill history shows all 5's ...just a thought.. but i have a list and 5 in a row are done so far . Total train time will be about a year , and i wish i had pre-planned better , with more 4's to go from . |

I'm maxing out my fitting skills right now. All at IV now but want them all at V. Energy Grid Upgrades, Shield Upgrade, AWU as well as energy managment lvl 5 and long range targeting lvl 5. About 2 months to go for them all as they are all 10 day skills (except AWU which is why I am doing that one last)

19 days for large eng turrets 5... or 22 days for Advanced weapon upgrades 5.. or 20+ for BS 5... ug.. i still want cruisers 5 and BC 5 too.. i think every christmas CPP should give every player 1 skill from 4 to 5.. something so i dont have to spend a month on every rank 5 skill thats worth a damn:( I can't figure out how you old timers do it... just 1 20+ day skill is going to kill me.. let alone dozens of them..

I'm just over a month old, so I'm pretty much without implants. That said, if I get Iron will and spatial awareness to 4, followed by Focus and clarity to 3 each, my training time is 24 days.
Think it's time I look for some +2 implants
Edit: Just took a look in evemon's implant calculator, with +2's for perception and willpower it goes down to 21 days. Time to hit the market!

anything capital is on hold...got missiles and gunnery,as well as engineering top out (all of them,even secondary skills but no spec 5)will tackle mechanic (all to lvl5) in about 2 weeks (everything at lvl4 as I stand).
Maybe next would be propulsion skills to 5 as well (the few that are not).
So yeah,I do train in section.

1 day 18 hours left on large projectile turret 5. Which will be my final turret skill to 5. I just finished large energy turret 5 as well. From here i will train the 4 relative tech 2 skills up to 4 and with that i will have maxed out my gunnery tree for what i use (perhaps capital skills someday).
Then i will pew pew up a few misc support skills because i have a few lvl 2s that really should be lvl 3s, and then it will be either hac 5, or amarr battleship 5 (amarr bs 5 being my last bs 5).
Don't know yet :)

But the big headache up ahead is Caldari Cruiser V. Not because it's 19 days, but because I'm working on training up the prerequesites for all the T2 (and T3) ships that'll be available to me when that skill finishes, so that when Caldari Cruiser V finally finishes, I'll have 9 new ships to fly.

Covops 5 and Rangefinding 5, maybe even Pinpointing to 5 after that. Been wanting for my scanner gal to have these for a looong time, but only just recently got started on it. 29d left on Rangefinding 5 (Rank 8).
The summer break was great for long skills, got Marauder 5 and surgical strike 5 trained without getting annoyed at all, as I wasn't even logging in.

Well I remapped yesterday to full perception/willpower and by late 2011, I'll have finished my current skill plan :D (which is every single sub cap combat ship (so ... no orcas, exhumers etc) on Ralara.
Longest one on the list is Gallente BS 5 (well, and amarr bs 5, minmatar bs 5 I guess) which are all at just over 28 days each.
Ralara's banned again so this is my alt :p |

I'm contemplating Marauders V. But I could squeeze about 4 other useful level 5 skills in to that time. Probably best to do those first then worry about it. Don't in any form need Marauders V. Would just be nice.

Why do people play Amarr? Because unlike the other races, Amarr characters are much more difficult to play. |

My main is banging out the electronics tree till his respec in march when I start a respec and start training for Amarr ships, so large energy turrets, and specs and amarr battleship to lvl 5. That's gonna take a while.
My support pilot did a retrain towards caldari ships from minmatar, so maxing the entire missile tree up to cruiser sized missiles, took freaking ages, but almost there now, only 3 spec skills too lvl 5 left ( still 2 months to do that though lol )
And I'm training a mission runner alt towards a golem, which is in total about a year of training or so, so another long as wait there. Drake is awesome in the meantime though.

Doing my last Battleship race to lvl 5,and with that,be able to fly every single T2 ship in the game,andd fly them well,as there's already about 35 million sp in ship command alone,out of a char with almost 118 million skill points.
After this,i'll train 3 extra dreadnaught races to at least lvl 4,as well as 3 more freighter skills to lvl 4 as well,leaving only 3 mothership races and the 4 titan skills to train,and yes,i have capital ship lvl 5 already....
However,i am starting to really hit a wall skill training wise,as i'm primarily a char that specialises in ship skills,so i might have only enough skills still left to train for another 6~7 months at most,then what?

I'm doing exactly the same here. Individually they are not long skills but together it's a loong haul. I'm also training, electr. upgrades, grid upgrades and all other prereqs for t2/t3 ships so when i finally switch to per/wil i will train at maximum efficiency.

30 days for racial frigate V ?! Your attributes must be downright awful. Get some learning skills or implants or something. It took me less time to train Amarr BS V.

I think I confused it for Cruiser V, it's actually about 12 days. My attributes are kind of scattered because I'm super ADD, so I just have everything by charisma kinda balanced at the same number of points. Still working on upgrading implants past +1 (though I have all my learning skills)

Currently wrapping up my 2 last missile support skills, then I'll go and get the remaining caldari and gallente cruiser 5 and be an extreme sub-battleship specialist. I'm just wondering if I should max out my drone skills, i.e.:
1. Electronic Warfare Drone Interfacing V (19 days, 13 hours, 34 minutes, 27 seconds)
2. Drone Durability V (19 days, 13 hours, 34 minutes, 27 seconds)
3. Gallente Drone Specialization V (19 days, 13 hours, 34 minutes, 27 seconds)
4. Minmatar Drone Specialization V (19 days, 13 hours, 34 minutes, 27 seconds)
Hardly seems worth training 2.5 months for barely any increase though.. but it would feel nice to have every single weapon support skill maxed out.

I'm off on my jollies in a few weeks so I've had to create some holiday skill plans so I can have a long skill ready for the break.
so between my chars I've got:
Astrometric Rangefinding V - 31d
Large Autocannon Spec V - 28d
2x Advanced Weapon Upgrades V - 21d
Amarr Cruiser V - 17d
Battlecruisers V - 23d
Yeah I know, I've got too many characters, and it was a job and a half making the skill plans so they'd work out right for the time, all skills that I wanted to train off various skill plans, so nothing wasted :)

You should definitelly invest some time in learnings. I can finish rank fives from 0, to 5 in less than 3 weeks.
