I wouldn't necessarily get all "cross every t and dot every i", but this being an IEEE thread, and knowing how persnickety they are about correctness...
Wong would be more correctly described as a Chinese surname than an "asian last name" (sic). Additionally, among the Chinese the surname (a/k/a "family name") is listed first, and the given name following.
Wong is a variation of "Wang", both of which translate into "prince" in English. So presumably he is going to petition many royals for relief. This is hardly out-of-character for a group that labels itself an "Imperial Commonwealth", but I don't see any reason why DanieI would be so inclined.

Corpmate of Joe in mining barge gets eaten by helios of doom including the pod. Joe Accuses Zed of MURDER! Proclaims they will never be beaten...foreshadowing that somehow the IEEE will learn this 'soon enough'.

Very nice story and very nicelly written. The only thing that I dislike are all those ******s that are trying to get some e-fame and are harrassing this "joe" guy for "teh lulz". When Zed is doing it, it's ok because it's what Zed does. When all those imitating ******s doing it, it's just fail.

I actually appreciate other folks jumping onto the bandwagon. There is only so much a one man (actually, more like 2-3 man) operation can do to apply the appropriate amounts of pressure to make for a good investigation. Especially given the disparate time zones that me and the primary are in.

I just had a chat with the CEO of Intergalactic Commonwealth. And he sounds like a reasonable CEO. He is moving his corp, and changing corp names, away (but not too far) at my suggestion.
I believe at this point that they have no association with Joe, no matter what Joe thinks. And just want to get this behind themselves. It was more or less just an error in judgement for calling their corporation almost the same (being fans of Andromeda)
Now, not being the most trusting soul ever...I'm keeping the wardec up on the corp that is closing to provide sufficient impetus to get out while the getting is good.
The ceo of Intergalactic Commonwealth has acted in a professional manner, as well as being a reasonable man. So I hereby end the investigation against him and refocus back on Joe.

I've tried to keep quiet in these "Joe Show" threads, but after reading the latest blog entry I was hit by a revelation. The idea, not the ship, mind you. Let's review what we know about Joe:
1) is trying to bring about some glorious, "new world order" which would in fact ruin the world.
a) related: is painfully naive.
2) is unable to admit his fault or error even when it's staring him in the face.
a) related: can clearly see when OTHERS misbehave, even when he can't see when HE is misbehaving.
b) related: doesn't think the same rules that apply to others apply to him, so smacktalks, scams, etc. without reservation.
3) believes himself to be a natural born leader, when everyone else thinks he's an idiot.
4) is a horrible public speaker, and can't spell worth a damn.
5) claims to be running a "dimocracy" <sic>, even though he refuses to share power with anyone.
6) has an incredibly strong "us" vs. "them", good vs. evil mentality.
7) has great disdain for all Americans.
Can't you see? Isn't it clear now? Joe Phoenix is, in reality, former President George W. Bush!

He's certifiably and provably more intelligent than the good majority of the readers of this board.
