Why do you all keep bragging about t3 with bs damage and bs tank when all you post threads about it pve? They are no viable pvp ships due to the cost and skill loss and your better off with a marauder and all I have to say about that is super dps and 40km tractor can the t3 do that? Its jsut a waste of isk already sold my t3 ship worst investment ever just get a marauder if your going to pve you'll be bett in the long run any way

No wait, yeah you have a point a Marauder is more practical, more dps, more range with a little less tank. But lets face it T3 ships are alot more fun. And if your using them to Pve, then anything that makes shooing rats more entertaining gets a thumbs up from me

Actually no no but I don't pay your bills so what ever you spend isk on is not in my controll I already wasted 2 bill on the ship when t3 came out so what ever tried it sent it back to bad there was no refund

Seems unfair to decide what you want to do then complain when a ship doesn't exactly fit your plan.
Why not look at what a ship CAN do and figure out how it might best be used?
From my point of view the T3 ships can do two things that other ships can't:
Fly through bubbles, and still do some dps/tank with a covert ops cloak and a probe launcher.
This makes them great for solo exploration in deep 0.0. They aren't invincible, but if you use your head you can have a lot of fun with them... for instance they are VERY useful for those escalations that send you 12 jumps into crowded, hostile 0.0.

In that link, you'll find every ship ive killed in my legion so far. All have been solo. All have been CNRs, Drkes, Golems, And Ravens.
It would be impossible to do in the same way, with any other ship.

I hope you realize those golems, drakes, CNRs are mission run fit and not pvp fit. Then again anyone that gets aggressed to a mission griefer can't be that intelligent anyway.
As far as PvP goes, outside ganking random idiots, T3 are subpar at best and cost alot.

Can anyone tell me the kind of range you need and if an AB is mandatory.. I never knew this was viable post torpedoe nerf.. =/

Show me another ship that has HAC agility, gank-fit BC DPS, and BS tank.
I run a popular proteus setup - 40k armour, 850 DPS, 1100 m/s stable.
Its a good thing too - because anyone in a T3 is primaried first ;)
Nothing will pop it short of a blob, and as long as you're not too stupid, you have a big enough tank to de-agress and head back to the gate.

1. Whether theyre pvp fitted or not, im getting kills. And isk
2. Couldnt do it in a cruiser. Not with the same success. Folks agress because im a 'cruiser' on the overview. They dont realise i have 302k EHP, and neut as much as a curse.

I guess the Marauder tractor bonus is useful if you like slowing your isk/hr down to tractor stuff.

Some people use T3 for pew pewing. I find them and kill them. Makes a really nice profit, and one day, I'll buy my own T3 by selling the loot I've taken from other T3s.
Generally, killing T3 ships is at the moment one of the few ways of making ISK from PvP. It is almost as good as the old days when T3 invuls were 25 mill, and a BSC was worth as much as an interceptor, just requires more preparation.
