thats epic.
here is something on my brain. with the new jukebox feature.....i can play .pls/.ram/.ect........that means if you know what your doing you can place your online "playlist" or "internet stream" within the jukebox....HMMMM my brain is sputtering away with insane ideas....lol.
if i am wrong please feel free to correct me....its only an assumption on my part.

Personally I doubt the will start the servers up early for this patch due to its nature. With it having a major impact on sov its highly unlikely theyll start tranquility up early as it would give various alliances in 0.0 time to set up gate camps etc. Ill wager its 21:00 at the very earliest.

+100 i totaly agree, i had to haul massive amounts of t1 items from 0.0 trough a wh to empire and sell them all in an empire station one by one... over and over and over and over... and over and over again... bulk selling should be very usefull

for people who do want to try the patch just copy your eve folder to another folder and patch that 1. So if it is wrong no damage done and no need to download the full client again.

well... someone wana tell me why there were a whole bunch of totally useless changes to the sounds... but they still weren't updated to work with windows? (acording to the update notes)
try making your game totally compatible with VISTA even (let alone win 7) before fixing the jukebox... (incase no one else can figure it out... no more direct sound support in vista/7 so the sounds dont work right on MANY PCs)
wht do game devs never fix the problems and always update useless crap?

What's going on with the different version from patchnotes?
from patchnotes the newest version should be 117738
but if you open your eve you will find out the version applied to tranquility is "117956"
Anyone know about what's going on there?

Eve works perfectly on my 2 year old laptop running Windows 7. In Windows 7 beta their were issues. But the version you can buy today, it works perfectly for me.
Oh and Windows 7 is so worth the upgrade. Even from XP.

I know they have 7 days, but it doesnt mean that people cant make things a lot more difficult for you than theyre supposed to be by camping the systems your attempting to sort out.

Odd that you say this, funny thing is, Eve uses the windows setting for sound output and yes, i do run Vista

Agreed, just upgraded from XP to 7. I am upgrading from 2GB to 4GB of memory, but that's just because some games (looking at you, L4D2) feel that the only good memory is allocated memory. After one campaign, L4D2 is using around 900 meg.
The only issue I have with Eve is the occasional CTD when I have sound on. Then again, it did that even on XP. Not concerned about it, as Eve is the only game with that issue, and I prefer Eve with no sound.
