how bad are they? My basic understanding: drop sbus, wait a while, take out tcu, plant your own, wait longer, etc. Guessing all have strontium? Or another method of controlling an rf timer?
What makes it suck worse, and how to fix the old system into sucking less?

this type of thing is to be expected when there isnt a sufficent number of professional beta testers on staff. also if you work for ccp you cant be active in a large corp/alliance in eve. or ccp cant ask a group of players to help test new stuff and reward them without emo lamers whining for years about it.
this is the buggy loophole filled game you get and theres nothing wrong with complaing about the exploitable loopholes. if you think anyone(or yourself) posts or complains without some personal stake then your incredibly deluded.

I do love ****ing women dressed up as foxes you got me there.
You'd almost think with all those question marks that I was asking questions rather than making definitive statments. Well, obviously you wouldn't think, but someone with at least a layman grasp of the language might.

The new system works as follows:
Anchor and online a SBU (3hours) Shoot at the hub (70M shields) until it goes into RF (24-48h, comes out +-2h of a time set by the owner) Shoot at the station (around 70M shields) until it also goes into RF (48-72h, coming out again at a time of it's owners choosing). then come back and repeat the above three times, and if your SBU dies at any point all stuff gets healed to full hp and you need to start from square one again.

I was at this IHub when we were reinforcing it for a 3rd time while it was at 100% shields. These bugs are a pain.

You omitted the step where you petition to a GM and get the obligatory answer:
"Unfortunately we cannot see any reason for the issues you are experiencing. We would suggest you close your client, clear the cache files in your EVE folder and restart client."
I'm told it works like a charm in all game-related matters, true story!!!

Maybe because the OP, is actually from alliance that is very well known to exploit bugs and stuff? And now when there is a bug that is not in his favor he cries like a little girl?

I assume safely you are referring to the "Band of Brothers" also often labeled by... hm... interested parties... as the "Band of Devs" or "Band of Exploiters".
Hate to break the news to you, buddy, but "Band of Brothers" is not a member corp of IT Alliance. It's actually an alt corp of your Goonswarm overlords. Apart from that I reckon you are of course pretty happy with having a bug/exploitable feature working that much in your favour. Gives you more time for firesales, right?

During the 4,5 years that I've been playing this game I've seen so many alliances using exploit's/bugs in their favour is not even funny...

Originally by: SirMolle At the current, if I-Hubs come out of reinforced during downtime, they reset back to the state they were in, ie, rf shield, it resets back to 100% shield, and you have to RF shieds again.
Since GM's are forbidden to intervene in any way, they cannot do anything whatsoever, and devs are very scarce to sort this apparantly.
After a gazillion petititions, where we cant get anything sorted, we'll just do what everyone else does; threadnaught.
So here you go, set all your timers to come out during downtime, and you will never loose anything.
and the Question is: What is beta testing?
is this how we play?

NOW, 30 minutes afetr this post, the GM's finally was allowed to FIX the issue.
Jebus CCP, sort yourselves. This should *NOT* be necessary, ever.
Hi SirMolle
People are entitled to their own opinions, not their own facts. Let me get yours straight.
First of all, GMs are allowed to intervene if deemed necessary and non game breaking. In this specific instance, we did not at first know what was the cause of the error and what the consequences would be to meddle with the structure ingame. When the structure went into shield reinforcement for the third time, we felt that was gamebreaking and intervened after consulting with the relevant developers. We did not do so because of this forum thread and there is no indication that your opponents were willfully and consistently exploiting a bug of this sort as you seem to suggest in your original post.
We will continue to do our best to assist you in any way we can when issues of this nature crop up. Please understand that we need to exercise caution when dealing with structures of this type and we need to understand the nature of the problems at hand.
Finally, thank you all for your dedication to EVE and your part in making our world rich and interesting.
Yours, GM Nova Senior Game Master EVE Online Customer Support
