So maybe we'll get to 57k (if you get that node fixed). --------

Fix lagg, cant login p-2
1033 in local in p-2 means that even before all the dominion buggyness you would have had lag issues. Did your repective alliance reps tell ccp there was going to be a fight on the node? Also you can see where all these new players that are driving up the pcu are clustered around the normal emprire hubs.

Boy, if the GMs read my petition I'd be able to help contribute as well with my main.
But my main is broken and I can't play even though I am subscribed :(

Originally by: Vorrto I never heard of EVE until mid-2009, never saw an ad on a website for it, on the TV, never saw any mentions in PC Gamer, but now I see them everywhere, I think I even saw one on TV, although I'm fairly sure I dreamed that after playing for 18 straight hours.
So, obviously, more people are going to be joining than ever before, and although only 2/10 (or thereabouts) are ever going to play past the trial and subscribe, it's still going to be a hell of a lot of people joining.
How are they going to fix it so the server can cope with so many people? The space we're given to play in is huge, but obviously the more people that join, the smaller it gets, more crowded, more crashes, etc.
Will they make a new one?
TQ is at nowhere near the total number of players it can handle. The current problems are more to do with how many can cram in to a single node.
I'd suggest that CCP are urgently looking in to the current issues. I hope they're also considering adding a few even more powerful nodes, because currently even the ones used for reinforced nodes just aren't cutting the mustard.

What lag? I've got alts all over empire and low sec and eve is running like a champ. Hell I am even in y-2ano atm with around 40 in local and its lag free. Unless of course you mean that nullsec fleet battle stuff that is currently broken when you stuff a thousand players on the node.

EVE is, in fact, not dying. Although if you log into a new character and watch newb chat, ugh, I can see maybe 50% of them not making it past the first week. What with all the WoW and Chuck Norris comments. <<<<< RyanSnake -- Privateer Extraordinaire Emergence, Inc. |

LOL I think more than 1400 in local is asking more than "a decent fight." Lag and node crashes are just expected at this point.

Yes because something that effects less that 3% of the current logged in players should mean that we all bow our heads in sympathy and cancel the party..
Originally by: evs lets see how d-g holds out, 1214 in local now...
I noticed that too. Maybe their alliance reps filed for a node reinforce.

This has been repeated for years. Just the amount of players crashing the node changed. The more they did to reduce the lag in fleet battles the more people were thrown on the node until it crashed.
Yeah, CCP never did a thing to address the lag issue in fleet battles.... --------

Quality over quantity.
Nah, lets just cram as many people on as possible and celebrate some meaningless figure, ignoring player experience. Users will just have to learn to love looking at log in screens, and the inability to play.
Congrats on the new record, go you.

Who the **** cares about records when your server cant handle the numbers and your last patch broke so many things it would be rediculous to start listing them here...

Yeah its a tear from laughing at all the emobois. Besides its hardly fanboism when nearly the entire server is running just dandy and only a tiny infintesimal portion is mucking up. Don't get me wrong I do sympathise with anyone caught in those two systems but there is no need to come running into every thread and whinging about it. Hence my emokid comment because apparently if they are not having fun noone should have any fun.
So, u emo?
