Hi, pls vote for that serious idea, maybe CCP will follow and add Faction Bc for the next addon.
Why Faction Battlecruiser nonexistent ingame ?
For exaple at least tier 1 should be add.

This Ships also are flown by NPC's in Missions or something but its not Avalibill to Fly

Maybe make the faction BC's to be semi-logistical i.e give them a bonus to medium racial remote tank modules. This way they wouldn't just replace the cruisers.

i think faction BC's are a nice idea, but i don't think they would have to be pirate faction... just more slots and base hp, hardpoints, maybe a faction bonus too like a tracking one on a RF cane... i vote for it :p

I vote for this. Seems silly that there is no faction version of one of the most used ship classes in game.
First navy bc's, then pirate factions with completely new hulls like the cruiser and frigates.

I'd much rather CCP spent more time fixing current issues and making the game more playable.
Also, why not fix the command ship problem? Essentially faction BCs would just be more of the same.

I agree with a poster above, TIER2 OR GTFO!
We already have Command ships using tier1 hulls, but there are no variations at all of the tier2 hulls.
Republic Fleet Hurricane or GTFO!!!
And personally I think they should be designed specifically for wormhole/exploration use. like cpu reduction to core probe launchers(not expanded probe launchers). dont just make them double HP wtfpwnsaucedamagemobiles. You died at the fittings screen, you just hand't realized it yet - Mr. Cue |

cyclone fleet issue 7 highs (7 turrets hardpoint) 7 meds 4 lows 5% bonus to projectile rof 7,5% bonus to projectile tracking 50mb of dronebay enough fitting for full rack of 220 AC, 2 LSE, MWD, etc.
ferox navy issue 7 highs (7 turrets) 6 meds 5 lows (TE are better for sniping than TC) 10% to hybrid optimal range 5% to hybrid damage 25mb of dronebay enough fitting for 7 250mm rails + mwd
Prophecy navy issue
7 highs (7 turrets) 4 meds 7 lows 5% energy weapon damage 5% armor resist 25mb of drones enough fitting for a full rack of heavy pulse 1600 plate and mwd. mini abaddon anyone :D

Thanks guys for your comments, at first it dosent matter what versions coming out, tier 1 or tier 2, well the Deatspace Npc versions allready exsist, so the hull just must make playable, and the other thing tier 2 are playable but no faction version to fly, the just need another name and look.

Well, I tried to keep it realistic and still give everyone what they really would want in a faction tier 2 BC. I felt compelled to limit the Hurricane's DPS by trading its ROF bonus for another damage bonus and removing some drone bandwidth, for example.
So the rough stats would become: 425mm AC Fleet Cane: ~820 DPS HAM Navy Drake: ~700 DPS Imperial Harby: ~710 DPS Myrm Navy: ~912 DPS
Of course the outliers are the Cane (very low EHP for a faction BC!) and the Myrm (high dps, but its got blasters, destroyable DPS, and an active tank.. so really its still pretty fail).
I promise its all reasonable. I promise.

I'd really like to see the tier 1 BC's get a small boost, what they really need to to give them something to make them worth looking at would be if they were made slightly lighter/faster and with a smaller signature.
It doesn't make sense to me that the tier2 battlecruisers have more DPS and a better tank than Tier 1 and are exactly the same size, speed & signature. making tier 1 just a bit better there would at least give them something... I do like the concept but I can help but thinking it's more about not wanting to train BC V. I would agree with fixing all of the current ships and general problems. If you want more our of a BC train it to V like the rest of us have.

Changed it for you. On the other hand 8 Guns on a fleet cane would make it better than a Sleip as well, so prehaps 7 guns would be better, though then it should have the same gun dps as a sliep, Point being, Having a double bonus on a minie ship dosent follow the way CCP have made them so far Normaly rof + Damage. But that's a bit of a fickle then, As 10% damage or 5% + 5% and 8 turrets is still around the same as the sliep.
But second thing to note, is that other than the malstrom Most minie ships have a utlity slot, which is why 7 guns might be better, also don't forget missle slots.

I figured since I was busy changing a couple bonuses around (Drake dmg -> ROF, Harby Cap -> Resists) I might as well "nerf" the Fleet Hurricane's DPS. Of course, being the artillery ***** that I am, I actually had an ulterior motive... the volley damage on it would have been near 7K (IIRC) with a full rack of 720s.

I'm also a big fan of BC, though i'd rather see CCP spent the sprint time on fixing CS instead tbh.
I'm not sure if the game need more Faction ships to obsolete tech II. No matter how awesome it is with faction stuff for RP reasons, tier two models, moving supply (/demand) out of the hands of pre-favoured tech II producers and into faction stores available for everyone etc.
Fixing CS should be prioritized at least - feel free to bring on the Faction BC past that :).

Sure. We can just go down the line.
First fleet commands:
Damnation, Vulture, and Claymore are more or less fine if you enjoy sitting in a safe spot and providing bonuses. Damnation also happens to be sexy as all get out. None of them are really suited for front line work (unless you want to risk the Damnation's absolutely epic tank for the hell of it).
EOS is useless in most situations. The bonuses it provides are... niche. "Limp" might be a better term under normal circumstances. It was the single ship hit hardest during the great bandwidth nerf of... whatever year that was.
Field commands:
NH is a great PvE ship that simply can't manage to PvP for its life. Which is kinda what it was designed to do in the first place, not solo L5s.
Sleipnir is a totally viable ship. And pretty.
Both the Absolution and the Astarte suffer the same problem: they don't really make any major advances from their (much) cheaper T1 counterparts.
The Absolution is pretty nearly outclassed by the Harbinger.
The Astarte is just as suicidal as the Brutix at several times the cost. If suffers from the same thing the Diemos does in comparison to the Thorax (or, again, the Brutix). They're all Leroy ships but only one (maybe two) make sense to use on a cost basis.
Does that sum it up well enough?

I can fly Nighthawk and Absolution and these ships are better for fleet actions as solo i think.
The Nighthawk donig a bit more damage as a drake, and with the missile/explosions bonus per lvl. you can hit speed tanks a bit more harder, but iam not sure if i can kill a dramiel with that for exaple, well the NH has only 5 med slots, that means you must hadle mutch difficult with your slots, if you want a good tank you need 2 invu fields, 1 large shield extender, 1 10mn mwd and a poit, but just a point isent mutch ecm, and you dont have a sensor booster to lock targets faster...
The Absolution looks like a mix of the propthecy and harbringer in one ship
the vulture could be excellent in Sniper Hac gangs with scimitar support, . or a speed shieldtank closerange gang, like cynabals, drakes, vagas, dictors, hictors and something ...

Serpentis 7 highs 4 mids 7 lows 6 (10.5 effective)
Blood 8 highs 4 mids 6 lows 4(8 effective) turrets
Angels 8 highs 6 mids 5 lows 6 turrets 4? launchers
Assuming all the same bonuses as their cruiser brethren I think/hope that this should be decently balanced in offering something powerful but not entirely OP, a fine line in battlecruiser hulls.

- Dont make this game ISK > Skill. Theres enough 6 month old pilots in Cynabals and Dramiels, that can mess up 90% of other ship`s day(class wise).
- Fix Command Ships, Gallente ones in pvp, Amarr ones for anything other then bait-tankage. Fix bonuses on certain command ships. Astarte and its next to useless armor rep bonus?! The thing is already slow, you want to armor tank/rig it, so it will be slower then BS?

Ship held its value better back then. Was a better ship IMHO. Now it is the cheapest Pirate BS on contracts. You may have thought it was IMBA but I think you are in a minority. If game balance can tolerate the Typhoon Fleet Issue then this should be cake.

Agreed. If I don't get either a Fleet 'cane or a Fleet 'clone someday I will be quite upset. I think if they continue with adding pirate hulls they should do so on the frigate and cruiser level, with a focus on low-sec interdiction.

Caldari Navy already has the: Caldari Navy Hookbill (Frigate) Osprey Navy Issue (cruiser) Caracal Navy Issue (cruiser) Scorpion Navy Issue (battleship) and Raven Navy Issue (battleship).
While the poor Guristas only have the Worm (frigate) Gila (cruiser) and Rattlesnake (battleship).
If anything, they should add a Gurista destroyer, or maybe a battle cruiser.
Of note, there are no Faction destroyers in the game either, not just battle cruisers. It's about time Korako and company got around to doing what they do best, stealing Caldari designs and improving on them.

The performance distance between tier2 BCs and tier1 BS is frighteningly small, it is mainly raw EHP and range that sets them apart. Adding a faction BC line would more than encroach on tier1 BS territory, it would make them obsolete in many scenarios.
Were they to be introduced then they should be non-frontline vessels that focuses on probing, support, tackling etc. anything but damage/tank really.
If you dont believe me, then look at the navy cruisers .. they are so close to being equal to tier2 BC when it comes to tank/gank (50k EHP/600dps Nomens for instance). Faction hulls are powerful, so much so that they should not be added willy nilly.

BCs are popular for being relatively cheap for the great mid-level utility they are able to bring. Not only would it be a colossal waste of time creating new ships when we've still got to wait 18months before they come around to polishing existing eve "features", but they would also be overpriced toys that rarely see any light outside of hangar lights.
I think the popularity of BCs in pvp right now are a testament to how well they are designed. No need to do anything further with them. They are fine as they are. Don't fix what isn't broken. Go fix what is broken first.

You bring out faction tier 1 BCs that somehow slightly outperform normal tier 2 BCs?
Would still require changes to CSs, but it might well be less OP than faction tier 2s.
But meh. I'd still rather that the tier distinction were done away with and each race's BCs be balanced so at least we have 8 workable ships before introducing faction variants.
Pirate BCs on the other hand would be pure awesomesauce and would prevent the UberLoLDrakeofDeathbyTank. And would surely be as imbalanced as the rest of the pirate ships.

I mean, ok, let's assume you indeed make some new ships, but what are their stats gonna look like? You surely can't make them better than current command ships, but this effectively means... tier2 level of perfomance at max.
At first you'd need to fix tier2 BC by bringing them down to tier1 level, then you can probably add faction ones, which will perform like current drakes etc. And this is the only fair solution.

Actually I realize that and my ideas on this would be exclusively based on tier 1 hulls and upgraded from there, slots wise ending up en-par with the tier 2 ships but getting bonuses in their role and/or bonus brought from their pirate faction. For the navy variants it's a bit more complicated since finding appropriate space between a brutix and 1000 dps for a serpentis BC and a navy brutix is challanging, largely coming down to having to focus on different aspects. Where the serpentis brutix would be an uncompromising commitment to melt-your-face dps the navy brutix, in the same manner as the navy mega would build a credible tank on an already heavy damaging ship.

Navy Ferox was easier since as an underpowered ship there's lot of room to improve it without making it too good, adding another turret or two, along with the fittings to manage it would give the Caldari a higher damage turret ship then they currently have by a long shot.

BS price drop by 40mil in past year I think. They are already displaced, I cant remember when I last flew one.
Oh and btw, BSes are at least capable of using large guns. The faction BC will displace Command Ships, since said Command Ships are already almost displaced by some of Tier 2 BC`s. ---

Guristas Cormorant with drones and good tank? Serpentis Catalyst with insane damage, 90% webs andspeed? Blood Coercer with web range and neut cap bonus and more than one mid? Angel Thrasher with inty speed, wicked tracking and huge falloff?
All that being said, don't count on CCP ever doing anything creative for BCs or destroyers (well maaaybe tier 2 destroyers one day), because Dessies and BCs are the only ships that need no racial training, and CCP really does like you to spend as much time as possible on skillz.

I vote against. Tier 2 BC's already are close to overshadowing HAC's and stepping on BS toes while obsoleting tier 1 BC's, and the field CS already has a tough time finding a niche.
