We are looking into it, looks to be one of the edge servers is playing up...
So that we can troubleshoot it faster - can you post your geographic location, and do the following:
Go to a command prompt (Start -> Run, type "cmd" and press enter).
netstat -an | find "1935"
You will get a line similar to this:
TCP 10.1.1.1:54002 209.84.0.125:1935 ESTABLISHED
What we need is the second IP in that list (eg. 209.84.0.125). It will help us narrow this down ;)

As mentioned yesterday, the player under OSX does not seem to use that port, so nothing is returned.
Also, the page itself seems to stall a lot on connecting to l.addthiscdn.com ù is this perhaps a part of the distribution chain?

The Level3 guys are working through this list and getting the affected servers sorted. We were having the issue locally in our office as well (watching the stream) and it is better here.
If you are having issues - just sit tight and it should get sorted soon (if you have posted the IP of the server that you are connected to).

i'm going to guess that it is Level (3)
i did some loose troubleshooting and it looks like (unless i'm crazy) they are having some crazy routing issues across the board right now.

I'm having issues with the medium definition stream. I can see the high quality stream albiet with some lag and I can see the low quality stream. When I select the medium quality stream (best stream with no lag for me) I just get a black screen. No signs of buffering. The timer just starts counting and the screen sits there black with no sound.

Saw that dudes who are on the same ISP as me (Bredbandsbolaget) doesn't seem to get any return on the command...
Would be awesome if the stream was simply fixed instead of fishing IP's and trying to fix it for individuals.

Just to clarify - the IP's we are getting in this thread are of edge servers and not end users. The stream upload itself is just fine, and for most users the stream is smooth. For some reason there appear to be a few edge servers that are having issues with the final relay of the stream to the end users, and these are what we are targetting.

there is alot of ppl that can see it (why nobody have started a private live web stream of it, i dont know :P) seems like alot of ppl in Norway/sweden/Denmark and Germany is having problems, this aint ccp's fault

Yeah - sounds exactly like the connection issues I have on any browser here, any of the 3 computers I have tried in the home. And I have experimented with 3 different DNS servers (ISPs, local Danish and googles)..
Still no connection to either videostream or twitterstream on same page.

I'm trying to find out what I can about Telenor at the moment, but don't have so many Danish friends to ask 
I have heard from a couple of sources (outside of here) now that there are some routing issues for a couple of ISPs routing in Europe, but really cannot say how this is affecting the stream and who it affects.

If the player cannot connect on port 1935 it should fall back to port 80 - but you will most likely have a ton of port 80 connections tovarious IP's around the place, which makes it a bit harder to find the right one ;)

Sometimes I have a 1935 connection, sometimes not. It doesn't work either way. Also, my rage is so great right now, I can not even begin to find words to describe it.

I can inform you that my telia 3G connection has no issues... maybe its time to change from Telenor to someone else
Streaming 3 weekends in HD gives around 25gb total. Telias largest monthly limit is 10gb while telenor has unlimited. So if you wouldn't be able to watch it with telia either if you watched a previous weekend. So no it's not time to switch to something as limited as telia.

Just to make one thing clear:
it's ->NOT<- just the AT8 feed.
Most things from CCP servers lag (as of now): game itself, forums (this one included), AT8 feed.
So I have strong doubts rerouting to any other CCP server will change much.

German Heise.de has a service which shows connectivity issues and one of the complaints of today were peering / routing issues with level3 from a specific router, though it seems to have been fixed. Just to give you a heads up though that this still might cause this problem

Yes, the people that are having problems are mostly from Germany, Sweden and Norway.
Some from Russia. (I guess they route through Sweden?)

When I randomly F5'ed my stream tab, I managed to get a different edge server, now all is smooth.
Had 198.78.217.126 at first which was broken.
F5'ed and got 192.78.208.126 which worked fine.
Another F5 a while later and I'm now on 207.123.62.125 which is also working fine.
ISP is Kabel Deutschland in case that is of interest and location is in east Lower Bavaria.
Still :sadface: about missing the VOLTRON vs CO2 match, although going by the live commentary on alliance teamspeak IT WAS GLORIOUS.
Most importantly, the issue is that this is already my signature.

It says theres an error on Telenors DNS-Serveres and they are working on fixing it. They will post an update at 20:00 danish time which is 18:00 eve

I had problems at the very beginning but it looked to be fixed, I got over an hour of flawless HD streaming but the last 5-10 minutes it seems like someone has broken something again and it keeps buffering every 30 seconds or so

Got everything going fine by using 3G cellar modem instead of DSL I normally use. (Having backups sometimes pays off, I guess.)
So, if you people have some backup connection methods, hightime to try them. (Maybe, just maybe, something like a "right" proxy will work, too.)

Seems like some people have success with VPN services, but most I can find are pay or ****e. I have tried a couple but they haven't worked so far, so if anyone know of a decent VPN service it would be much appreciated.

Just a word of warrning b4 you start using your 3G or other auxiliary connections make sure you dont end up paying pr mb, because 1hr = ~1gb

any chance the inbetween matches parts can go on youtube aswell. Really would like to see what the panel people are up to aswell. Just watching the matches in the comming week is a bit of a watered down experience.
Tried changing my dns host file to force "evealliancelivefs.fplive.net" to point to an IP a friend of mine gets, to no avail. Can't resolve that adress otherwise.
I'm on bredbandsbolaget, sweden, in case it matters.

Tried going through company VPN that routes via UK - cant even resolve the server address so deffo something wrong with the DNS from Sweden and BBB/Telenor.

Stream is still broken using bredbandsbolaget/telenor directly. But you can add Mullvad to the list of VPNs/anonymizers that can be used as a workaround...

CCP tries to get them up on youtube as quickly as possible, expect them to be on their youtube channel on monday or tuesday.

guys if you have access to any VPNs try using them, maybe also some proxy servers, or other services like TOR.
I have tested it with a VPN and its working, however not everyone got acces to a vpn (has to be fast enought, too). |

Anyways, a fix for this is to change your dns to googles dns server.

And then a very good mate of mine hear my whine in some maillist, gave me a socksproxy on his server in the US... Works flawlessly in HD.. Routing videostreams without any lag and with no problems... Something Telenor apparently couldnt manage today...
