Actually making them an item that can be reporcessed doesn't solve the problem either. Not every station has a reprocess facilty. My agents station for example...
I do like the voucher idea however that doesn't move my dozens and dozens at my agents station either.

Only two things are really needed, and they are already touched on in this tread:
1) Make these station storage units movable (voucher from the Agent to have it "delivered" to where the voucher is cashed in was a gread idea).
2) Drop the percentage for when station storage units are given as a bonus.
I am only capable of running level 1 agent missions myself. I have two agents I work with for the Sarum Family, and both are at 100% of bonuses giving station containers to me. That just seems downright wrong, especially when I have run over 20 missions each with the same result.
Maybe it's just a racial thing. I saw a Minmatar battleship the other day that looked like a few dozen station containers welded togetherą

I don't get any of them from my Lai Dai Agent, because Lai Dai offers many different items as Bonus and i had to buy some to organize my stuffe but SOE only have Polytextiles, Antibiotics and the station thingys, guess what you get most of the time. Also no reprocessingplant at that station.
Simply remove them from the bonustables and put them into the normal NPC market, every corp sells them regarding to the corp info on the HP, why not change it that way. The peeps that need some can buy them from NPCs at the station where they want them.

This is in our Defect Tracking system, has been idle for a bit. I expect it to be fixed soonish. These station containers should not be given out as a bonus reward.

So does this mean that they will be "removed" if this is patched/fixed or could we find ourselves sitting on next years "Harvesters"

Zrakor, I'm glad to hear they are being removed but is there any chance of CCP coming up with a solution to get these containers movable in one way or another so that players can actually use them since they have been given as rewards or should we just trash them and be rid of them?

How about making them as agent offers? That way those who want them can take them and those who don't can decline them. |

Edited by: Tau Stone on 17/12/2004 23:05:03 Make them pilotable (but unable to scoop objects in space, so people don't haul on mining ops with them)
At least then we could move them to where they would be useful (i.e. stations with a corp office/hangar) |

I like having station containers/vaults/warehouses as rewards but I would perfer 3 things done with them that have been said.
-Make them not appear as often
-Make them reprocessable (even if they only refine for trit there are uses for large amounts of trit)
-Make them portable from station to station (the waiver idea I like personally, or even release some BPOs on the market/research agents)
If they are removed from missions completely, then there either needs to be a way to move them, or they need to be offered at every station so that I can purchase them as I need them (They are great for organizing my cargo hold).
Originally by: hired goon ------------------------------------------------ I agree with every point and counter point that has been brought up in this and every other argument ever had. --------- |
