Please remove Station Warehouses/Vaults/Containers from Bonustables, they are neraly the only bonus I get from my SOE agent and are not useable in any way. True at some stations there may be a small need for them but i have already trashed a few dozen and still have a few dozen around. This station is not my base, has no reprocessing station (afaik they can't be reprocessed) and no need for them and I wont put up sell orders for them because every agentrunner at this station has some of them and does not need to buy more.
I want my trade goods back, they were a Bonus at least because I could sell them somewhere.
Put them at the NPC market so that anyone that wants some can buy them at the station where he needs them and the quantity he needs.
This topic may have been discussed already but I found nothing in the Subjects.

Yup...can't move them to where they are needed, can't recykle them, and everyone in the same station as you are probably got ****loads aswell, so basicly you can't sell them. And if you DO decide to use them for sorting the meager lootpickings you get nowadays, you have to go trough all that unlocking before you can do anything with the stuff in them..
Basicly...they suck..
Have a nice day of missionrunning.

Edited by: Azur on 15/12/2004 12:31:47 I do alot of missions but I haven't seen one of these as a reward yet. Must be sensitive to corp or agent. My normal Agent is Amarr Navy L3, Internal Security.

I've gotten a few from the the story line missions. I sell them for 100 isk each, just to feel I get something, and they are used by someone. If they later recycle for something like 1M, I wouldn't feel too screwed though.
As for getting them at corp hq, they are most welcome though.

Almost wish there was a dialog option like "Thanks, I already have 50 of those. I'll just take the cash." =)

It would be nice if they did a simple check first..
If someone already has 1 of the massive containers and 10 of the smaller ones then don't give anymore.
Or something...

I wish they would make these movable in some way. I could really use these at our corp office but as things are now there is simply no way to get them there and the 110 station containers and 11 station vaults I have are WORTHLESS at my agents station. To make matter worse I can't even buy station containers at our corp from other players since we are based at a DED station and CCP still can't seem to work out allowing players to work for DED and there are no containers smaller than station warehouses on the market in our station. I do have a couple of ideas however.
1) Make these containers movable while they are packaged. There shouldn't be an issue with this since the containers can't be used in any way while packaged.
2) If for some reason there is a worry that by allowing players to move the cans while packaged, then how about an NPC moving option much like transferring our clones from one station to another? I'd be more than happy to pay a small fee to move my containers where they would actually be of some use.
How about it CCP?

Yeah I've got 60 of these things now. But at least it gives me somewhere to put all that toxic waste and fertilizer I guess.

Lord almighty, it's not like lev 2 agent missions are all that rewarding in the first place (though they are fun for me), but come on. I've taken to getting so creative with these things that I now have seperate cans for individual items. 250mm....150mm....Engy skillpacks, Gunnery skillpacks....just to make myself believe there is a point to doing a mission where I'll get more. I know I work for the Caldari Navy and it is common tradition for the military to pass on surplus equipment as payment for a 'job well done' and think I'll just take it with a smile on my face (which in writing this I'm getting one cuz I'm just being a turd and I know it), I still go out drinking with the boys and throw them in the campfire....

When Titans make their appearance, it seems that their pilots will have permanent jobs moving station containers around.

The point is though that not all stations have them and not all HQs are at stations with agents that drop them.
Hence why we dont really want them taken completely away.. just a way to move the dang things to somewhere useful to us. |

Station vaults, warehouses, ect ect NEED to be able to be "looked into" from remote places, otherwise they are just like having abunch of regular containers, that you DONT have to unlock when you want something out of it.

How about another alternative and supposing that CCP can accomodate this :
How about instead of having these massive things just drop as agent rewards wherever your agent happens to be located.... how about the agents instead give out a "voucher" for these (or multiple vouchers).
Then the people who have gotten these "vouchers" (may appear as a kind of single run BP -- or even multiple runs) for these station warehouses would be able to transport them to whatever station location they have an office in (or where ever they like) and be turn-in the "voucher" ( or right-click and "build" ) and they'd have their permanent warehouse "appear" in their hangar??? People could also "sell" or "trade" these vouchers (put them on escrow or even the regular market).
They are useful in multiple senses (if only to prevent things from being accidentally recycled) and I would also hate to see them go.... but I agree that the "usefullness" depends on the ability for people to be able to place them where they can USE them. As it stands, the inability of moving the "reward" to a home base is the limiting factor... and it is a severe limitation
