A new or different game?
A significant change to EVE? If so, what change?
Could CCP do something so outrageous that it would cause you to quit?
I'm curious about this as I see a lot of complaints from the player base, but relatively few who plan to quit EVE.

only thing that would stop me playing eve, is if they remove the skills and the real time training of the skills, this for me is eve's HUGE selling point. no other game ( that i know of ) offer's this. and it is one of the biggest reasons i love eve

Boredom, generally speaking. I stop playing Eve every 8 months or so for a few months. 
To stop playing once and for all? *shrug*

Really? I've lost over half of my contacts since Dominion because they quit. The old players are quitting rapidly and are replaced by lots of new ones.

In all reality, paying for expansions would irritate me. Or if they made suicide ganking impossible/considerably more difficult/ or if they made PvP less common in general.
This is soooo not Zions Child's Alt because he sooooo did not get a ban for soooooo not trolling one of Ekrid's sooo not a troll post.

Well, I did say "relatively". What specifically were the issues in Dominion most of your contacts quit over?

I have 'quit' about 3 times over various things. Around 6 months being the shortest time away, to about 2 years as the longest.
First time i quit was wayyy back in early 2005, when the game bored me to tears. Second time i ragequit after losing my first ship, a Maelstrom. And the last time i quit was due to realizing just how screwed up the game is in many respects i won't get into. You should all have a pretty good idea what i mean anyway, from my feelings towards certain things.
Now i just don't think about how screwed up the game is, and simply accumulate wildly expensive ships and fittings to gaze at in my hangar. Have something like 5 billion in assets, and no good reason to risk any of it. The universe outside of Rens can be swallowed up by the nothing for all i care.
My deepest sympathies.

They couldn't play and Gms gave them the finger, general boredom after Dominion made matters worse.

Location isn't a factor. At least in the US we can shoot someone who tries to break into our house. 
I'd think Europe would be worse. You say something about the Quran in vent, some crazy uses the forum to track down who you are and... off with your head!

Nah. Still way too many bugs in the social interaction and expectations & incentives modules for me. I'd wait on some more fixes first if I were you ...

Aye true, but the culture of a location can also have an effect of how likely a person is to go cuckoo over a game and internet pixels(to a degree).

I would leave if there was a well designed roleplaying MMO with GMs that enforced in-character play and were quick to boot tards who break the immersion. Kind of like Neverwinter Nights on a massive scale.
