This crap is just silly Minmatar is out of hand, their speed and falloff just ****s over other ships. How the hell is Gallente suppost to keep up with anything when Minne ships just run circles around them?
What is this *******s musical ****ing chairs? Buff one group and nerf the other same old **** all over again, and don't even get me started on Angel ships Jesus Christ they are op as hell. Take a look at Gallante please CCP in about 18 months of course when you have time.

Everything is this game is extremely sluggish (except Matar ships) and you need a lot of patience. Not only to training skills, autopiloting, AFK mining but also new features or balancing of old ones. A year is nothing in EVE.
Patience.

What would be the point? Min will just get nerfed once too many people train them.
I think the goal here should be to have races with strengths to offset weaknesses. Gallente on the other hand have no strengths when compared to other races. It's crap because one spends an awful lot of time training their race before they truly realize how much Gallente sucks in all respects with the exception of drones. Of course, drones are a secondary weapon and will never deal the damage of main guns. So there's little reliability one can put on drones to give the Gallente pilot an edge.

Do you even know what your on about, using eft and the 3 battlecruisers which have damage bonus to there respective turrets (brutix, harbinger and cane) its the brutix that comes out on top for dps with blasters, is stable at 64% for cap along with the harbinger and has the highest volley damage, now taking into consideration that the cane can only use 6 autocannons in comparison to the harbs 7 pulse lasers and the brutix 7 blasters even if it were possible to add another 425 T2 AC it would move the cane to 1st place but the brutix would still be 2nd. Blasters on many fits can put out high dps and there ranges arent much different from the rest of the races. Even if you were to compare the rails, beams and artillery you'd find that they're all pretty close, personally i think its just your skills are **** but what do i know

Where was this whine when gallente were the top pvp dogs and noone would fly minmatar?
Welcome to ccp's arms race approuch to ship balance. There will never ever be a time when all the races ships are on a level playing field. But don't worry the cycle so far was to buff amarr with pulse lasers and scorch crystals then caldari followed suit with the huge torp buff followed by the minnie projectile buffs. Guess who is next?

Train all 4 races, problem solved. You can start with BCs, it's very easy as there is only 1 BC skill for all races. Medium guns aren't that long to train either. In a couple of months you can be racial-nerf-proof and always fly the FOTM race. Then you can lean back and laugh at all that whining about racial ships and weapons superiority.

The irony is that this discussion was the opposite way around not so very long ago. Gallente were the ownage machines, and Minmatar were the 'hard mode' ships, with the vagabond being awesome, and everything else netting a 'meh'.
I think it'd be the relatively lowered speeds, meaning slower closing to blaster range, and the fact that Gallente pilots now have to deal with tracking, rather than just 90% web everything.

I'm a minmatar pilot who is pretty much done training up minmatar skills. Other than caps...
I'm thinking about training up T2 blasters so that when they inevitably get buffed to an overpowered state I'll be right there.
But I decided its not worth it yet. There isn't enough forum whining about gallente to generate the storm their buff will need to get off the ground. At some point people will be totally sick of hybrids sucking or a small dedicated group with a number of alts will begin a campiagn to get them buffed on the forums. Then it will take CCP a little less than 6 months to implement the overbuff.
So about 2 months after daily 'gallente suck' multipage whine threads come to the forums, and just after CCP shows a glimmer of comprehension, I'm going to start training t2 blasters.
Shield tanked gallente gank boats for the win.

Right, because optimal range reduction one has absolutely no effect on falloff?

I would not call 4.5 years a short time frame if you want to refer to "owning machines". Then again the multispec nos domi of doom was the most feared ship, even at this times, not actually the blaster ships that create the main noise since QR.
As far as hard mode goes, the only real example was the Pest(I didn't even got the pest done in the only pest vs mega in my 4 years of solo blaster pvp) during this time frame, as I recall minmatar hulls where not to bad during the nano age and after it.
Any ship has to deal with tracking, the only difference is that the point blank ship will be in the worst situation all the time on top of his other shortcomings.
I for myself would not blame the projectile buff for the poor state of blaster pvp, it just made it a bit more obvious. At least to all the people that didn't given up on it already after the QR changes. ---- Nerf Tank - Boost Gank!

I wouldn't call it 4.5 years, either. Since propulsion changes is about it - blaster ships need MWDs to close, but they lose their MWD when they get scrammed. Blasters benefited hugely from the range control granted by 90% webs - at that range, both ships would likely be near immobilised, and that's where blasters were devastating.
Problem isn't so much the blasters though - they're still high tracking, high damage short range weapons - as much as that the current metagame doesn't support how they have to be used to be effective.
That wouldn't matter nearly so much if railguns didn't suck. I'd love to see railguns rejigged a bit, so rather than the highest tier guns being both longest range _and_ highest damage and volley. If they'd made say - dual 150mm rails to be 'somewhere between' the upper end of null-neutrons and antimatter 250mm rails in terms of damage, range and fitting, then I reckon you'd have something that worked a lot better.

This, I have a gallente specced character, and have discovered that Blaster do have a problem, but that Gall drone boats are pretty awesome (Ishkur, Vexor, Ishtar and Domi) and the Megathron still seems to be quite happy in BS fleet fights.
Blaster boats suffered from the web nerf/scram buff and that is the biggest problem for them, not tracking or damage.
Rail boats do poor dps at long ranges and you don't see many rail fit Moas, Eagles, Feroxes or even Rokhs in small gang warfare.
Any change to hybrids would have to affect both, not just one. One possible change would be to improve the damage on long range hybrid ammo, and tracking on short range ammo.
Another possible change would be to to buff the rail RoF and swap the active tanking bonus on the Brutix and Hyperion and the MWD cap bonus on the Thorax to a web bonus (5% per level).

I wonder...
I have sene all those amarr whiners before they got buffed, then I saw alle the "amarr is OP" whiners afterwards. I saw "Projectile Turrets suck" whiners and now I see "projectiles are OP". I saw "Blasters are op" and now I see "Blasters suck"
cricle round and round...I wonder: When will Caldari be Fotm? You dont see much ships other than drakes in fleets nowadays if you look for Caldari. our hybrid Boats suck ass (because of Railgun dmg) Missiles aren#t quite liked in fleets and noone seems to fly Shield tank gangs....
I dont see why Gallente whines...
