They are fairly rare. I started playing eve when I was 17. I was probably annoying, as most under 18s in eve are annoying.
Heck I am probably still annoying.

Two were complete asshats, surprised? One was really good though, actually would've never guessed he was like 16 until he actually said he was...

As far as I know, im the youngest person in our 900man alliance. (16)
Nobody realises my age until I tell them. Fairly proud of myself that I can fit in with a group aging from 17 to 40+.

I've met quite few under 18 year olds in my years of playing.
And I'll tell you something. Most acted more mature than the 'adults' who post on this forum. Most of which are total ****wads with nothing whatsoever to contribute here.

im 14 and managing my own pirate corp with 19 people and growing. We have plenty of players from 2006-2010. Whats the big deal about younger people playing eve?

I'll be 18 in a month, and I have been playing since I was 14. Clearly the learning curve isn't as hard as everyone makes it out to be.

You're just on the higher end of the teenagers who aren't absolute idiots. Speaking from experience, there aren't very many of them, so be proud of it...

I once flew under an FC who was 17 years old. He was the best FC I have ever seen (perfect timing, perfect coordination, perfect execution). |

Then you spend the next few minutes realizing just how nasty you get while on the Corp chat window...
