Personally, I was all for letting the Thukker Tribe pay the damn sov bill a long time ago. |

Time to enter the "no spin zone"!!!
Fact 1: we had tremendous fun beating the supreme crap out of cva and friends for the campaign. and TBQH they were in the most part valiant and honorable foes.
Fact 2: The number of actual pvper's in UK/DK during the time we held sov was always somewhat up in the air, and noone can question that we could not have accomplished all we did without our allies. Of course we needed them, and still do.
Fact 3: The disband hurt us badly, but amongst those who weren't in providence to bear, it lit a fire... a fire that never had a full chance to spread because of the stifling influence of sov politics and bears in the alliance. Both of which are gone.
Fact 4: I do not know Soda and Dai's reasons for what they have done beyond the public statements. I will say this though. When we were fighting FOR provi, they were in our fleets against the slaver and for that much at least, i am grateful.
Fact 5: CVA is NOT dead. That is apparent, and as much as it pains me to say it, seeing the slaver on the field of battle is much more preferable to some of the opportunistic scum that now we face.
Fact 6: We are not dead. We are weakened. we are thinned in numbers. The will to go on however, is strong. It will become apparent in time.

Where is the warrior spirit? This not the UK of old. So you lost a system too PL and a few jumbridges to neighbours? PL will not hang around in KBP for long soon as they are gone fight back. CVA lost 100 times what you did yet they still fight again and again and again.
So every time you set foot in Providence you face the entire might of the locals? So what? The UK of old would of relished such a challange. If you run from this you will be forever tarnished as a soft target and easy quitter. So soon after the collapse of -A- you pack your bags? thats not the way of the warrior.

Yes the battle cost us quite a few Capitals, but we still held the line against multiple Titans, motherships, and other dreads from the ever dangerous IT Alliance. Even despite those heavy losses we prevailed under God's glorious watch. I must confess however, that I feel saddened by the evacuation of a once powerful enemy...
Well, the gates will always be open... and our guns will always be warmed up for ya.

Hear me, true residents of Providence! Hear your arch-bishob. Hear the words and truths of the World's most belowed hero, Golden mountain, High Father and Noble Peasant of the Imperial Pharmacy. I speak on behalf entire and respected Church of Providence.
Church of Providence has declared mighty victory over heresies of New and Improved Church of Providence, wich was Ushra Khan's and later Damu Khonde's attemt to lure our congregation astray from our Imperial Faith. At last our struggle in this fron has ended on triumphnant victory. Not even Prophets of old could have done any better than I, with my congregation, the true people of Providence.
NICHUP is utterly destroyed and its heretics are driven out as we speak. The Church of Providence now lay claim on everything they own and has left behind.
This beginning. This birth of life. This dawn of greatness. I can not fail, for I have the Emperor to lead me and destiny to follow. undefined |

I brought my older brother too school with me. He kicked the **** out of everyone on the playground and stole their dinner money. Then some former pupil or teacher rocked up who incidently is now a heavyweight boxer and knocked my big brother clean out. I was left on the playground with lots of angy kids and no big brother so I thought it was time too leave.
You have to be the most chicken **** alliance in the history of eve. I thought that title went too -A- but atleast they are still fighting.

Please read what I have said through out the discussion again, I'm sorry but I think you are missing the point. We consider this action to be the act of returning to the 'Ushra'Khan of old' as you put it. We do not consider our recent activities to have been all that productive, we are expending too much effort on negotiations and the like and not nearly enough on our core mission.
We took on the challenge of rebuilding Providence post-liberation. That is now as complete a task as it can be. It is time for us to turn our attention back to our core goals. We have chosen to hand off our holdings to those who have worked with us these past 9 months or so and to get back to basics.
We have long maintained over the years that we are not about sov, and that we consider it to be a tool. We no longer see the benefits gained by holding it as outweighing the obligations of holding it. This should be proof of that long-held assertion, there is a political structure in place in Providence with the potential to carry on without us being there all the time, in fact it may function better without us.
It is truly time to move on, not to cling on to something for the sake of it.

Now that is an interesting assessment in light of recent and ongoing events in Providence, and I'm not talking about CVA here...we're currently a side-show. You were doing fine until this assertion, slave-kin, but this is going way too far into the realm of obvious public relations spin.

Simply different standards I imagine. It isn't 'rebuilt' to be as populous as when you slavers ran the place, but it's populated by capsuleer forces capable of holding their own against most probable threats - such as yourselves - as a (very) loose coalition.
