i occasionally cyber my CEO in her office 
we'd joke how the other corpies would react to me getting roles so fast
but we're of better integrity then that and im workin' my way up like any other scrub
the type 3 girls ive found are hilarious to watch while they work
but i know several type 1/2 hybrids, their carebears but they wont take **** hehe
at the same time ive been referred to as a EVE pimp, i have my own channel and i have a buddy in there that sits there most of the time
but i just kept inviting new girls and he'd wonder where the hell i find them all lol
what can i say, im friendly, helpful, and generous :3

That sounds pathetic hehe. Rule number one with women: Never appear to be "needy". Nothing turns them off more. What do you expect? Her to say: "Oh my, you poor boy, no one loves you? Awwww come to mommy"? Needy doesn't work, or well it might work but only on the lowest chicks that can't get laid themselves. The good ones will just shrug you off or harvest you for all you're worth.
And if you write mails ingame to someone you just found out to be a female IRL you my friend ARE needy.

It's a sorry state of affairs but that is just the nature of men. Even if a woman is 3000 miles away they're still going to try it on, whether it's outright flirting or asking for pictures, or whether it's a more subtle "Pretend I'm not interested to stand out from all the other men who are eager, thereby increasing my chances". It's how men are wired. I've met few beside myself who don't act like this. Personally I just want to play the game and do my own thing, I don't even talk to other men, let alone women, not in here, not much.
Besides, they won't have to put up with it for long. Once walking in stations and shops are released, women will outnumber the men playing by 10:1. I know around 6 women from my group of online gaming friends who outright refused to play this game when I started simply because you couldn't walk around and see your character, even though they all liked the game, that was enough to stop them from trying it. Once they can, there'll be more.

I somehow doubt that 4.5 million female accounts are suddenly gonna appear due to internet spaceship game shops and internet spaceship game walking in stations.
For a woman to land in EVE she has to pass these areas of interest:
Game > Sci-fi > PC game > MMO > Sci-fi MMO > internet spaceships
Your chance of getting even a 50/50 gender population is near 0 even at the beginning, and it drops rapidly after that.

True story. I was once on another character a long time ago and in a corp who did a lot of pvp in high sec. One day, out of the blue, I got on vent and apparently walked in on a detailed conversation about date ****, how some there had done it, and think it's completely ok, and others saying "man, I wish I had the balls to do that! You're so awesome!"
Needless to say, I left the corp immediately after hearing this. I checked up on the corp recently also, and it was closed down also.
Just goes to show how the internet can be a place for people of questionable nature to congregate.

The eve player base is full of sad sacks and shut-ins. All game cultures are. You can improve the game all day, but good luck improving the player base.
There are groups of players out there who are better adjusted, but one has to look. Also, there are a number of all-female corps. It sucks, but this game is full of creepy beardos.

Ive had exactly ONE person start the "omg yur a gurl lets haz kinkeh secks" routine with me in EVE. It is pleasantly uncommon. It happened in SWG much more often, as in several times a week.
TBH, I find the player base of EVE to be far less offensive than any other MMO I've played, likely due to the fact EVE punishes stupidity and simply appeals to a more mature player base than say WoW or SWG.

Who cares if girls play this game. It is an internet spaceship game, the main social interaction is flying pixel-ships and blowing each other up. To that end, it shouldn't really be a loss if girls don't play this game. Gender is no inherent quality that has an effect on this game. So if girls play eve, great, if they don't, who cares. Not that you would know anyways unless you hear a female on voicecomms. In fact people should refrain from thinking that female players in a game such as eve are flirting quality anyways. Statistically they are an obvious anomaly, so it is not a far fetched thought that they have some other "anomalies" too. Of course, there may be that great looking woman of my life in Goonswarm blowing stuff up right now. But then again Jesus may talk to me through a bush tomorrow.

Male or female player, it doesn't matter really. Trying to judge a player based on their gender alone is just sad, and thankfully it's not the majority of guys that actually do that.
I've had female corp members in the past, one was even a director under me. To be honest, I'd rather have all female corpmates because most of the time they're a lot better at keeping the corp organized and not trying to inflate their own ego. Too many male players on here seem to get mad if anyone does or says the smallest thing to them, while most of the female players I've known just shrug it off and keep playing.
TL;DR version: Guys needs to stop thinking that every girl online is a ****star.

The only woman on EVE that I've had the "pleasure" of interacting with was a whiny idiot who told me to **** myself every two sentences, that I'm a ******, spoke in caps a lot of the time, led a terrible carebear corp, and raged consistently at me because my corp decced her corp. (The reason we decced her in the first place was because of the aformentioned behaviour which she carried out towards one of our members.)
I'm really hoping that EVE doesn't only attract women like that.

It's definetly because most people who play this game are extrodinarily unattractive or have glaring personality defects that are only slightly concealed by ingame interaction. I present some proofs

Yes I know goons are an excellent example and you're saying to yourself "hey I'm not like that" well trust me you are well below average. Even the most brave eve players who show theselves on those alliance commentary videos or did.. I don't know how it is now. Are only, and this only goes for maybe one of them average looking..
Now in my time on my thousands of alt laughing at all the major alliances at one point or another as a spy. I say lots of this facebook omglol behavior. Everyone looks lolwtf? And yes they do all hit on most of the girls on vent or whatever with these pictures that should have never been taken.
\But I do have to say that these women do goad these sad desperate below average or chode like people on.
One recent example was a spy I had in the IT coalition. This was a couple weeks ago when whateber alliace the Highflyers belong to *that's where I had one of my spys... lol that's how little ... eh whatever back to the point. There was this 40ish year old woman on TS teasing another director who happened to be mexican. And a lot of other guys were all excited trying to talk to her and she kept saying how bad she was and passing out sexual induendo. It was embarrassing for all of them.
Anyway that's why I love this game. Only becaise I have thousands of alts everywhere and I can log on to any of them and laugh at unfortunate looking lonely people be akward online. In all timezones

Games like Eve attracts a certain type of player. Women drawn to Eve, are often geek chicks.
We all know geek chicks are hot as hell, and as the majority of nerds are social outcasts, they don't know how to behave when in the same room/TS channel as a woman.
The result is a bunch of scary social mis-fits that scare all the hotties away. I blame the parents.
Or - we could just stop generalizing and realize this has nothing to do with Eve. I know quite a few women, and most have had mixed experience with men. It's not an Eve problem.
