I'm assuming you mean in the search results? That should already be on Sisi.
Differentiation between BPO and BPC in other locations, such as your hangar, is on our backlog for the next release. The deployment of the 64-bit Inventory allows us to work on this feature.

Can we get an option to switch OFF icons in the search result lists please?
Can we get a warning if courier contracts traverse low sec, but both pick up and drop off are in high sec? Is that even possible with your public search feature, as I read something about problems with server resources?
Can you please show security status of systems as numbers for those colorblind people?
Can you make the 'Info by Issuer' show up in the results list in the second line under the orange contract link?
Also, as has been mentioned.. include an option to drop the charges into the hangar if it would overflow the cargo.. not that we can't create contracts for those cases then.
Besides that.. wonderful! Looking forward to the next node you can pull of the cluster to make the experience smoother support Public Idea Tracker | 24hr PLEX |

Edited by: TorTorden on 28/12/2010 15:21:43 Probably been said half a million times, but could we have damaged modules\crystals\drones to be automaticaly moved into hangar so we can still contract a ship even if we have say a heat broken gun on a absolution or whatever sitting in a station you no longer have access to or in a station 300 jumps off ?
and off topic, for the freighter guys who likes to organise their stuff maybe have ability to select a group of items and have a button\right-click option that wraps it all into a plastic wrap container for a fee? Would optimize the need for courier contracts into something actualy used primarily by couriers. ------------------------------------------------ There is no such thing as good or evil. Corp-insured ships should now never have their insurance voided when they are contracted so you can use Item Exchange contracts for this.
I have a serious question, can you still void the corp insurance once the ship is loaned out by re-insuring the ship privatively? I noticed this loophole back in 2008, wondering if you guys fixed it yet?

If accepting your own contracts does get implemented can this extend to accepting corp contracts that you create as well?
Can we get a preview of the contracts API to provide feedback?

What about contracting drugs (and other illicit goods)? It's a bit odd that I can buy them on the open market but not from non-courier-exploitation contracts, and it's getting to be a bit of a pain to manage ships when literally every ship I own has boosters ;)

One of the features I thought of while I was reading this blog is the ability to search for contracts with multiple items.
Since contracts are capapble of containing multiple items it would be nice to search for a ship, and then for another item as well, say a particular rig, to limit the contracts to ones rigged the way you like. This would be a huge benefit. |

Why would you want to switch them off? Do you maybe mean a 'simple' view where each entry is half the height?

It will be shown in the contract details window if you traverse a security boundary.

We'll look into that. Maybe add it to a tooltip.
Originally by: Tres Farmer

I'm afraid that is a bit tricky since the infamous 'info by issuer' has been used extensively by imaginative scammers.

That was actually a part of the original Contracts design back in the day. I'm not sure how useful it really is to allow people to restrict public contracts based on minimum standing, but it's certainly technically feasible.

Let me jump on the Red Frog bandwagon as well. We are close to 40,000 courier contracts this year alone and if the trend continues, we'll have that many or more next year. We've worked very hard and very long at a task few capsuleers are willing to do. Many of us are hardcore haulers (and very, very sick people) who do almost nothing else in EVE. Most game improvements, expansions, etc. have little effect on improving OUR gameplay. This one feature could be the best thing to ever happen to us besides the increase in courier contract volume. That's two improvements in the entire history of the game that are of any real value to professional haulers.
Please, I'm begging you, extend this to private courier contracts.

edit: Here's Locin's original Assembly Hall thread that sparked the CSM vote to approve contract changes and (perhaps) led to this change. It would be a damn shame if we couldn't actually use the thing we wanted so badly.
edit 2: and, Mr. Atlas, YOU voted for it!!
Indeed, Mr. WeEda's post was the catalyst for many of the changes. I just didn't realize he was referring to private contracts
This is definitely something we will consider and the exact feedback I was after since we are after all trying to give this profession a boost with these improvements and your corporation is at the forefront of this playstyle.

Exactly!
Same goes for the LP shop, there it's even worse tbh
I mean, you can't blame me really for this wish.. the 'Market', 'My Contracts' or the 'Wallet' have this 'feature': one view, see it all, no fluff.. very convenient and fast. I don't need to have so much empty space shown just because of some icons I've seen a thousand times already (and for most contract searches they all look the same too!) and on the right a tiny scroll-handle or need the mouse to scroll on a slow pace.
As for the info by issuer.. was just thinking of something useful to put into that empty space (some people don't lie and actually use it to add usefull information there, like ML/PL/runs of BPCs). If you can implement a sleek list without icons I wouldn't even dream of that any more Nevertheless, I wouldn't had thought you would bring the 'scam protection' as reason not to make this.. doesn't fit EvE tbh. Tell me something about database queries and fields not in the result lists of a search. I would have bought that, but the 'scam protection' is lame

I find your lack of a response disturbing. I assume that either you don't know and/or the subject falls outside your jurisdiction.
Would you please forward the question on to someone that does know and/or can answer? since you guys at CCP took away the loan contracts from me and I would like to know if I can still provide a similar service to corp/alliance members with minimal risk.
Thanks!

You can re-insure any ship in your posession and that is by design. Not sure about the relevance of loan vs item exchange in this regard.

I think he is talking about corp owned ships and the fact that if someone jumps in a ship in wh space for instance the last person in that ship gets the insurance. He wants to lock the insurance so that if it is corp owned the isk always go back in the corp wallet if it gets destroyed. I have never done corp insured ships so do not know how the current process works.

Please consider increasing the expiration time from 2 weeks to something much longer for private contracts. We use private contracts (corporation scoped) to post item exchange contracts for ships as part of our corp ship program. We have hundreds of ships on contract and it is a royal pain in the butt to constantly repost them every two weeks. I really dislike logging in to pew-pew only to find 50 to 100 contracts have expired and then spending the next 60 minutes reposting those contracts.
Pretty-pretty please :)

rte: 'public contracts' tab: i dont get it, looks like a complete waste of time when you got more important stuff to worry about like:-
1) getting rid of that stupid background in-station siren noise, it's so distractingly irritating...
2) fixing it so I can edit my new 3d avatar koz despite the beta testing, the new portrait looks crap and I'd quite like to look more like my original character than the stranger I've been lumbered with since the last upgrade/install thingy that f@kked up my hair and my face...
3) fixing it so when ccp applies a new patch to sisi, we dont lose all our stuff, skills and other stuff we'd been saving and planning to use in our own private testing programs and having to re-learn all them skills we lose...
I know I'm being *****y, what with eve being the best award mmo an all, but these things are important and have put me rtight off testing sisi koz of these annoying things...
and what is the link to go direct to the right people koz everytime I send a p[etition, some guy comes back and says sisi problems aint his problem, so:-
4) could we have a dedicated menu item on the main petition thingy specifically for sisi petitions so they all go to one person and his/her team dealing with masstesting and sisi problems in general??
