Since the roid fields are packed with an overwhelming majority of macs, and hulks are a rare sight, perhaps it's time to rebirth the event under a new fitting name?

Yeah. Mackinaws only have ~15k EHP untanked (and miners are still not fitting a tank despite it being MUCH easier to tank now than pre-patch)

Yep, I lost my Mack last night mining in a 0.5 system. Mine had a 26K EHP tank....two catalysts took it down easy.
I was at the keyboard. Still though it was my fault....I saw the combat probes on scan, but just didn't think they were after me.
Shrug, I think I'll just use a retriever from now on there. |

they prob wouldn't even be doing it if they weren't awful at pvp. Real pvpers prefer a challenge and people who actually would feel defeated when they die. Unfortunate that they are so rare in EVE. |
