The thing I love the most about these fights/threads:
On one hand you have the NC saying "We're the best and the Russians suck" And on the other hand you have the russians saying "We're the best and the NC suck"
Tbh I love and hate both sides equally can't you all just shake hands and say GF ------------

Hmmmm... I was in from the beginning of the fight and got about 4 to perhaps 6 volley's off during the main engagement.
TBH the players are the good guy's...CCP still hasn't got their act together. This could've been an epic fight.
but hey...I had a moving screen..and every once in a while I could move my modules around...guess that can be called an improvement. I hope in a bit we can actually fight each other

While Uemon losses are not quite negligible I would say that the amount of losses are not quite there for the Kursk scale. As they say in the south, it aint over till the FAT lady sings ;) - in south the FAT lady means usually FAT-GP, a coffin nail of several alliances. No system of strong tactical value has fallen yet.
By taking advantage of the inside disbanding of rebellion alliance the DRF has gained a bridgehead in Geminate, but it will remain to be seen if they can keep it as well. It is long way to to the sov levels needed for Cyno jammers and we have yet to see the Stalingrad and Kursk battles of the current invasion. Being on NC side I believe that NC can field more than they did in LXQ when you push their back to the wall.
It will not be the last battle where we will see the soul crushing lag in this campaign. Regadless if CCP cooks their Jita node inside liquid nitrogen pool far past any sane OC levels or not. If the NC decides it's 'do or die' battle I expect them to be able field approx 6000 pilots with approx 1000 of them in supercapitals/capitals. Remember - goons are still in the south atm and if they walk over to north for THAT battle then it would bring nontrivial amount of pilots on table. On the same token I expect DRF forces to be able to field approx 3000 pilots altogehter as well if they mobilize every single man they can and decide it's 'do or die' battle - however being able to get these 3000 for invasion .. probably not. If it would be for their core territory .. then yes. LXQ for example was pretty important DRF system although by that point morale probably was not as good as it could have been.

Tbh, considering lowsec usually dies at around 200 pilots and 10 minute fighting, even when node is reinforced.. it's quite impressive you guys actually managed to kill anything at all. Hearing reports of 1200? at least well past 1k pilots, that's impressive. CCP must've sorted something out even in low-. -

PS the lag was ridiculous tho, and thanks for crashing the node NC >.<

While you all do that i hope more fights like this can deliver lols for the sanctum fitted supers too. Some players are limited by their ISK potential when they fit and others by their intelligence. Therefore the loggin of 6000 crap in a system waiting for the others is propable the best option given what you have to work with. EVE's endgame....

This just in, the NC are blobbing carebears with no hope of doing anything without crashing the node and got their **** pushed in by the Russians. How....surprising. Yeah I am a pirate. What are you gonna do about it? Killboard link is not allowed to be used in a signature.Applebabe

Every alliance has its lemmings. NC, DRF, South, leet pvp - it does not matter. There is always someone who jumps while FC screams HOLD ON GATE or asks 'wut?' 3 secs after orders are told in teamspeak, relayed in text in fleet chat and boradcasted in fleet system.
Ofc at the end of day in a blob you need just one skilled guy to save the day - assuming it's in command. All others have just do as ordered. So in the endgame is is reasonably simple, good FC, dicipline and fielding what FC asked you to field determine the outcome. Well some luck with lag gods can help as well, but it's rarely the luck that determines the lag luck as it's more often than not the blob that is jumping in who suffers the higher casualty rate.
On average I have seen better FC's in the south than in the north. The core FC's - who are in command when supercaps die left and right these are about the same quality and it's matter of preference whose style you prefer.

There is no FC that will save you when things go wrong.Especially when he has fleet members fitting Aeons with drone upgrades at med slots...
