So they show up again tonight and im in the station (put em on my buddy list, and since we all know they are alts who only log in to gank, its basically an early warning system) and I ask why they are so bold to attack innocent people yet so shy that they won't talk to them. I get "U steal, U die" as a response. Intelectuals these guys are. So anyway I warp out to the belt real quick and 2 of em are already there, so I warped back to station, logged in an alt, and flew a STRIPPED iteron 4 out there for em. Like a bunch of retards they blew it up. So there out about 6 million plus security hits, and im out 420k. They aren't the brightest. I just hope they keep it up so I can get em banned when they delete and remake their toons. I'll keep everyone updated. :)

HAHA their back again! I bought 6 iteron 4's today and put em in the station so I could keep getting fresh ones to use as bait so they would keep killing me till their security status hits -5.0 and they can't enter the system anymore. Only ones back, they haven't attacked yet. Waiting for their buddies im sure. I'll let you know when they blow me up!

What are there Security Status at now?
Surely continueing this night after night it wont be to long before there down bellow -2 or -2.5 whichever it is which bans them from 0.9 space, especialy with at least one podding in there.

ROFL, like 30 concord ships were still in the ice belt and they attacked when there were only 2 of em. They didn't even kill the iteron before they got smoked. I LOVE IT!

I don't know Minerva. Im fighting the good fight here to try to get rid of these guys once and for all using my brain. Anyway, I made a post earlier on the boards asking how many times they could attack me before they couldn't get into 0.9 space anymore, but no one answered me =/

I'm not sure about this, but I don't think they get a security status hit unless they kill me! I think ill take the damaged iteron back to the belt so they can blow it up so they get the security hit. My whole goal is to just be done with these fools once and for all and the faster that happens the better, even if it means sacrificing 10 more ships!

hehe, ah yes i think you are right they may not get the security hit for not destroying your ship.
and the ss for not entering 0.9 systems is -2.5 so thats what you aiming for, (http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=135823) was hidden on about page ten or eleven in crime and punishment.

Well, two of them had the same name like **** 006 and **** 007. Both those logged off. I REALLY hope they are deleting their toons and making new ones, cause thats what gives the GM's the green light to ban the account. Either way ALL of them have to be getting close to -2.5.

I suspect however that the Reborn twins probably hit their security status limit of -2.5 and re-rolled. If any fresh ones attack me tonight or tommorow then that means they are re-rolling, and ill petition and have the GM verify it and ban em (hopefully).

Its ok. I petitioned last night and talked to a GM and I got the impression there was nothing that could be done until they started recycling their alts, but I petitioned again tonight just to update the GM's about these goons, and I don't wanna say what the GM's said. All i'll say is that their aware of the situation.

They actually get a sec hit for every weapon they fire at you, but it's not as bad as the one for destroying your ship, nor even close to the one for podding you.
Maybe try Iteron Is. They're cheaper and die quickly. So, while using a tanked IV would be fun since you'd get to watch them die, if you goal is the punish their sec status, getting your ship destroyed is the quickest way.
What system was this again? Maybe I'll send an alt over to get ganked.
Edit - also remember they have to wait 15+ minutes before they can attack again, because Concord will just pwn them when they undock if they don't.

Well, Reborn 006 and Reborn 007 logged out and Barnie and Z0mb1e are coming after me now. I went back to ice field in my iteron 4 and was smacktalking them a bit, but they didnt show up and didn't say anything. So I figured it was safe and got my mining barge out again and resumed normal mining and hauling, well they showed up again only this time they wised up and went after the minging barge. I warped away from the ice belt to another asteroid belt soon as I saw em, they followed (HOW I don't know) and then I tried to warp again but they rammed me throwing my speed-up to warp off (this in itself is an exploit in my eyes) and then attacked. They got me down to about half way (I trained some armor and shield boost skills today) but I FINALLY hit warp as I watch concord smoke them both again. If this isn't harassment then I don't know what is. I just hope these clowns get banned.
Well, back to smacktalking them and baiting them into takeing more security hits.

They all logged out. Looks like im the big winner tonight. I only lost one naked iteron 4 that cost 420k whilst they all lost about 7 or 8 kestrels and a TON of security status.
Getting even is a wonderful thing.
It'll be interesting to see if the drama continues tommorow night. Until then i'll be mining.

Atlane, thats a good question. I know that once someone attacks you that you can shoot back without concord attacking you. They are "flagged" when they attack you.
Im honestly not sure if your gang mate could defend you or not though withough concord attacking them.
It wouldn't do much good anyway. The basic principle behind these peoples attacks are to get 3 or 4 of them together and all attack you at the same time so you don't even have a chance to defend yourself. This is a blatant exploit in the game mechanics if you ask me, but the GM's and game designers don't see it as such, so all you can do it keep baiting them trying to make them do stupid things to lose their security status so you can get a GM to verify that they ARE re-rolling (which IS considered a bannable exploit by the GM's and game designers) so that they get banned. This is what I am trying to do.

those stats on sec stauts are correct . when you see a criminal in those systems most times you'll see em in a pod or doing instas. When i was naughty it was a 50 - 50 chance of getting by the cops. Doing some other naughty things it got to 70-30 in my favor.
As for the flagging. You don't even have to be ganged for em to pop up flagged. They shoot you they are fair game to all just don't pod em or you start blinking. pick a cheaper ship too or just have some one help tank you and blast em when ever they try and hit you. Tho trying to get ther sec status low is all fine and dandy i like seeing the pretty explosions more.
btw my sec status is low not for piracy but hammering ore theives. fight the good fight.
ccp pls pimp the convoys again.....ie put things back in them. |
