Oh, hey! Me too! It's almost like I'm interested in this game about spaceships and don't really care about walking around inside a cubicle.
I wonder what it would be like if several teams were working on stuff like this, and for more than a couple months....

Edited by: justin666 on 15/03/2011 21:36:08 guys they going to absolutely nerf the s++t of sanctums and havens and other 0.0 sites you know it.... its already bad enough as it is with the stealth they thought would help (clearly it has not) so dont get your hopes peeps
the dev's goal in this game is to ruin it.. no joke
fly safe....yes im calling for a buff of sanctums

Quote: NPC jamming has been updated and streamlined. They should all work with the same functionality and you can fit countermeasures. In other news, jamming NPCs are still annoying.
Can you describe exactly how you changed jamming rats? There is a large corpus of empirical evidence that we were already able to fit counter measures.

* player portraits available in windows - Trading, giving money, chat invites and objects in space.
Nobody asked for this. If they did then they are dumb.
* you're made squad commander automatically
Good. Thank you.
* quality of anomalies will depend on the systems truesec
Good.
* The input boxes in the industry window now has room for more digits, meaning small item manufacturing will actually allow you to see the entire number.
Kay.
* system name to outposts, me = drunk.
...
* NPC jamming has been updated and streamlined. They should all work with the same functionality and you can fit countermeasures.
Good.
* We've added more default overviews. Instead of having "default" and "mining, you'll now have "general", "pvp", "WarpTo", "loot", "mining", "drones" and "all". Hell yes.
DONT YOU DARE **** UP MY OVERVIEW SETTINGS! I SWEAR TO GOD!
* ability to strip fittings from unpiloted ships.
Nice. I'm assuming that this does not include removal of rigs and subsystems since that can already be done via repackaging.
* 0.0 truesec will now be displayed in the same manner empire truesec is.
Bad. Bad. Bad. Bad. Bad. You just completely destroyed all my ratting systems. All those little places where I had a minor advatage because I was willing to do some research and plotting. Thanks a lot. Way to empower the dumbasses and punish resourceful players.
* Removing bookmarks can now be done from the right click menu in space. Having to go through people and places was a damn hassle and hopefully this will improve bookmark usability.
Hmm.... Don't know if want...
* Instead of having a separate column in the fleet finder for the fleet boss standings, it's now a small standings box in the boss portrait, much like you're used to from chat channels.
Kay.
* items that cannot be repackaged won't stop the entire repackaging operation.
Good.
* Clicking the picture of another pilot will bring it up in a larger version. This feature is part cool, part creepy.
Stop stroking yourselves and get to work, please.
* Loot logging has been enabled by default.
Good.
* When using the autopilot, your waypoints will be highlighted so you can see where on the route they are. This owns.
Huh. Good idea.
* If you like Incursions and are seeking likeminded partners for long walks on the beach and shooting Sanshas, go ahead and join the "incursions" public channel, found in the channel folder.
Except hisec incursions last about 10 minutes now and nobody is interested in the other ones.
* Your personal ship fittings are going to be stored on the server
Kay.
* Newbie missions have 180 days expiration and you cannot lose standings for declining, quitting or timing out. If you decide to re-activate a trial, hopefully this puts you in a better position to come back to the game.

"As a part of the "equal value space makes this game boring" initiative, we've changed the way anomalies work. The quality of anomalies will depend on the systems truesec - the better the truesec, the better the spawns. CCP Greyscale is writing a blog on this exact change, coming soonTM"
Waiting to see more info on what this means... but i fear i have just been kicked in the teeth.
This effects a small portion of people but will effect them in devestating ways, CCP went and uped the value of low true sec 0.0 space and asked us to poor infustructure into it (now its not that much but it is some) and then they devalue it. I ned to see what ccp plans but this stings, the lower true sec systems are allready of considerbaly less value then the higher ones i dont see this as necesaary.

opening dot lan and spending 3 seconds hardly makes you a smart and enterprizing player... really i think this will change nothing i will still use dot lan... If you were doing some kind of time intensive research instead of using the **** tons of resources out there to get hte true sec fast and easy, then yes ccp has empowered your dumbass.

Please, please, please do the same with overview settings, bookmark folders and quickmarket folders. In online games everything (except video settings) should be kept on the server side.

OMFG YES!
Ahem, this doesn't mean that I like you.
Obviously you have to be very careful with all these 'corp bookmark' suggestions, you could completely ruin w-space if you just allowed 1 person to create and share with their fleetmates without having to physically meet/jetcan/contract. |

I really hope that a Devblog or something produced listing all the fixes and features in Incursions so that we can review and see what cool stuff has happened in this expansion. So when someone says I get nothing a person can point them in this direction
As players, we want, we want, we want, and we forget what we have. Thanks Keep up the good work. Thanks for taking the Time to Fix our request and still give us new Bling
ps. Please don't forget to list off you attempts to shorten CSM's want list.

Can we have an option for portraits to not load until we click on them? This was insanely handy for keeping track of people (for recruiting and people hunting).
Thanks

Although all that they said was that "spawns will be better with true-sec decrease", i am worried about that as well. CCP will either nerf them, or improve them. ____________

Edited by: UniqueOne on 16/03/2011 03:43:38 I forsee even larger blobs once most of 0.0 is nerfed. This change seems really really REALLY stupid (and in the advantage of a few alliances who do not need it anyway)... but as usual we have little choice but to wait for details.
Increase a lot of 0.0's sec status to offset this and maybe it will be acceptable...
Also, fix the lag! Remove + standings from eve!

If your alliance was still relivent we would care about your opinion. We need something to fight over.

Edited by: Mecinia Lua on 16/03/2011 04:31:50 While most of this seems good, concerned about the changes to anomalies, Incursions already made it hard on the casual player. I fear this might remove them from 0.0 entirely.
Thoughts expressed are mine and mine alone. They do not necessarily reflect my alliances thoughts.

Wow...might be the best Devblog I've ever read. I had a range of emotion, I heard music, I tasted cookies, might have become physically aroused... Final Score: 4.9/4.9 Would read again.
Critique: Could you have Fleet setup remember my last settings?[ofc you must] I hate setting 'Free-move' a literal ****ton of times... Touch the Industry windows more, like forcefully fondle. Most of them are 'modal'. It does not work on ANY OF THE UI.
Can we now jam NPCs? Bring Falcon to fight Officer/Sleeper rats?? Tell me more please.
'Remove bookmark' will not be above any option on that dropdown, and will be delineated beforehand. It will be, or else...
Need option to repair that broken mod to popup while repacking...
Avatar preview[like ships] screen thanks.
I see you are fixing Dominion's major flaw. Homogenization. Now about those Tech moon clusters and Alchemy's failure to prevent a second chokepoint...and no Treaties to create Player Civilizations by law...keep this in your thoughts, always. Creative Customer Person 7 |

Making bad space worse isn't a good a idea.... It it generally inhabited by renters, small groups, that none of the big alliances want to touch with a 10m pole. So unless this is coupled with the introduction of new 0.0 space not reachable by the big guys it will screw over the little guys.

All these sound great,
I would like to request something though, a way of telling the owner of a corpse without needed to *show info* on it.. for those of us who have.... lots of corpses, and they are all identical, and you try and find just one to link to them for funzies it can be quite hard. Maybe show their name when you hover over the corpse icon, or maybe allow them to be ordered alphabetically by name? its not much, but could save potentially 10's of minutes of searching if you can really be bothered!
otherwise, looking forward to these fix's
