This update is very much appreciated, thanks!
I have a few minor requsts while you're at it.
Like someone said above, in addition to storing the personal fittings serverside (which is awesome), you should move every single bit of personal information to the server, and keep the client clean. Stuff like chat channels, overview settings, color schemes and so on. It is not very online game'ish to depend on local settings for the game to work.
When you choose to sort your items by type, the items really should be sorted by type. Since the introduction of planetary interaction (where some former trade items became planetary items), and especially since the recent regrouping of items in the market, this has been even more of a mess then it used to be. I suggest a recategorisation of all items such that they sort after the new market groups. That way we would have a separation af ammunition in large, medium and small, a racial separation of ships of the same class, consistency with the market for easier access of the tons of different manufacturing items etc. And by pure coincidence the most used items will still be at top, like ammo and drones. Of course some very special items could (and should) be allowed at the very top, station containers, PLEX and the like. If you do this, the group tag (in list view) should be changed to reflect this change, and should show up in attributes along with the (interactive?) path to the market group when you click 'show info'. Heck, the 'group tag' could simply be this path, that would make it very simple to implement i guess. That way a Rifter would belong to the 'group': Ships > Frigates > Standard Frigates > Minmatar. And for the special and/or uniqe items without a market group? Give them one. Like you recently did for faction ships.
This would greatly satisfy the little OCD-part of me :D
And again, thanks for the fixes so far!

F***ing stupid idea and goes directly against the concept of upgrading space to make it better. I presume you will be refunding upgrades in systems which just got **** again?

This is ****ing bull****. Why the **** are you going out of your way to penalize groups who cannot access high value pockets of space again? This is exactly the kind of biased nonsense which brings CCP a bad name. This is exactly the kind of change some dev would suggest whose toon is in one of the powerbloc alliances to make their space more valuable. Get your heads out of your asses.
"equal value space makes this game boring"? Only some ****** in a powerbloc alliance would make that argument - or someone who has no experience trying to carve out an existence in their shadow. You guys are so clueless it boggles the mind.

Thanks team BFF.
Could we have a shortcut for "open corporate hangar"? Would apply to selected ship, or my ship if the selected item does not have a corporate hangar. Also "open ore/fuel bay", please?

Even with anomalies behaving similarly, there are plenty of reasons to go to war. Moons, strategic systems, vendetta and fun come to mind.

One thing I would like to be able to do...and it is such a little thing, but something that would be very nice....is the ability to rename Ship Maintenance Arrays at POSes. Renaming silos would be cool too...haven't tried that...just assuming it can't be done....love the rest of the changes so far. ---------- |

P.S. Lagging out systems until one side gives up and leaves is not PVP. Why not limit the number of (blue/other seperately) people that can target a single ship based on the sig radius of the ships? Primary targets and lag are what is making the game boring.
Well when looking on the map most of the north does not have that impressive truesec.
So I kinda wonder what it means for delve(the warthorn nomansland in the west) which has rather low truesec.

When was the last time anyone fought over rattingspace??? Honestly, if you think ANYONE will fight over this then you need a reality check. The only ones that will suffer is the renters noone else. The main alliances already hold more good space than they use so they couldn't care less about it.

I have one suggestion, have truesec affecting industry sites aswell, i.e. whatever ores are available in the system those are the ones you get in the upgrades. If you are going to nerf sanctums, nerf everything to do with sov... don't just limit the idiocy to anomaly ratting.
Just my thoughts; CCP if you have idle developers thumbs, get texting! Uniform rat quality gives alliances with bad truesec the chance to make decent isk (the ordinary members that is). This is merely an attempt to pacify empire carebears who can not or will not make the jump to a 0.0 alliance for all the benefits that it offers.
The other changes are just fine and dandy, I welcome any changes to the interface and fixes on other issues.
In essence this just boils down to jealousy of empire inhabitants (just wait to see the flamers respond to my post), and while I disagree very strongly with this particular change, I can understand that you (CCP) have a very difficult position in trying to maintain the happiness balance between empire players and 0.0 dwellers. In my final sentence I ask for you to really consider the implications of this for quite a large proportion of people who play the game only casually, and therefore will be hit very hard by this.
Regards
Urgan Nagru.

On the subject of potential future 'little things':
Make clone upgrades automatic provided a character has sufficient funds and is at a station with medical services. If a clone is not up to date, pop a warning on attempting to undock.
Clones, after all, are the single most important recurring expense for an individual pilot, and as it stands, there's more warning given for "If you click 'delay', you can accept a mission later".

To BFF guys/gals: Can we get a "hide/exclude Level 5 skills" checkbox in the Skills tab (under settings) in the character sheet? :) The option in the Training Queue window is quite useless, imo. :)

The NPC/anomoly changes in this patch seem very very biased.
Could be the best small patch to date , until you mentioned nerfing of the anomalies , really if you think alliances will figth for ratting space(lol) , you are only destroying little alliances and renters that will leave 0.0 and back to empire doing missions.

There are no "little alliances", there are only huge powerblocs in sov 0.0 now. As for renters, well if you want to get more rent from them, you'll have to take better space and rent it to them, wont you?

Guess what, big power blocs , dont go to war for ratting space that was like in 2004 or something.

Here's a pretty straightforward quality of life thing team BFF could work on:
Change the way names are displayed in chat windows. Provide them in a collapsible tree, preferably sorted by standing. That way I can quickly glance and local and see how many corp mates, alliance mates, dark blues, light blues, neutrals, hostiles, etc. are present. If I want to look at individual names, I click the little + next to the standing and that breaks out all of the names so I can select one person/portrait in particular.
This solves the problem of trying to get an accurate local count when there are hundreds in the system, it makes it easier to select one name in particular when the list is constantly scrolling, it lets you tell exactly how many neutrals/hostiles are in system without needing to constantly scroll the list up and down, and it seems like a pretty "low hanging fruit" as far as implementing in the UI.
