Quick question about the new character features (scars, tats etc.):
Will we all get flagged for re-sculpting or just re-customization? Will I still need to petition for a re-sculpt?

Regarding this:- All NPCs that use jamming have been streamlined in functionality and you can now fit your ship to counteract them.
àwhen that "change" was presented, many of us asked what it was you actually changed, but we never received an answer.
NPC jamming can already be counteracted in the normal way ù it's been possible for years. Yes, I know that conventional wisdom (and some very old CCP quote) states that it's based on a static chance, but actual testing has proven this claim to be false. ECCM and high sensor strength is already a factor in determining NPC's chances to jam ships. Hell, we've even been able to suss out the jamming strengths against different sensor types.
So what has actually changed here? Anything? ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Remove the 0.0 change and its a good patch. Otherwise, enjoy the sudden drop in subs.

LOL..."extreme nerf" to 0.0. These stupid "all space" is equal BS should never have been introduced in the first place....everyone knows how bad for the game that was.
Finally CCP realized it was a mistake and is fixing...they do pay attention after all Keep up the good work. There is still waaay too much isk in the game and this patch will help that too. I love it.
Now just get the lag fixed...stop all the supercarrier blobs...make dreads useful again!

Oh, and for some of you that think that this is actually good change, have fun with 0.0 bots. They don't care and will continue to bot 23/7 - group that is hurt the most is actually some of us that do play this game and can't be online for 10h per day.

More null-bear tears, now with free wall-o-text!!! (tl;dr at bottom)
The problem with the sanctum nerf, at least for me, is the impact on keeping myself in small roaming pvp ships, vagas, cynabals and munins oh my. These losses are often not reimbursed (unless you are in GooNC alliances because of the tech moon imbalance) but this style of small/fast roams with 10-20 buddies is what most pvp pilots love (some exclusively some enjoy the cta's as well)
What people are forgetting about when they are saying "how did you get along before sanctums?" is that before sanctums alliances had much more isk to play around with. Supercap proliferation wasn't at the levels it is now, meaning a dreadnaught fleet with some carrier support was all that was needed on an alliance level. Dyspro and prom moons turned out a mint and there were no sov costs (fueling towers costs no where near as much as maintaining sov). With fat alliance wallets isk making responsibility was shifted from the individual pilot to the alliance(yay, we have a reason not to kill each other and actually show up to defend stuff) . This allowed most of the alliances/corps to have modest if not full pvp replacement programs (vs the CTA programs I've seen recently) supported by a couple r64s which were alliance level assets.
Then CCP had a great idea (terabad) to shift fiscal responsibility away from the alliance and towards the players. Cue sanctums, allowing individuals to earn enough to fund small scale pvp without becoming full time bears. At the same time, alliance level assets were nerfed (dysp/prom) and more alliance level expenses were created (ihubs).
Now you are taking away our sanctums without providing another income source to fund small scale pvp. At the same time, alliance wallets are being hit with reduced renter income (hard to pay rent when you can't run sanctums). Those of us who like small scale pvp are being forced into selling plex, botting or joining the NC (all fates worth than death) and thus QQ
tl;dr with the advent of sanctums and ihubs combined with the dyspro/prom-nerf the isk burden for small gang pvp moved from the alliance to the individual. Taking sanctums away without examining that relationship is stupid

this is very funny i live here http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map/Esoteria/AJG-MV#const now without sanctums and heavens well there is no point in even holding sov (useless ihubs upgrades lvl 5 and alot of shiit) carebearing is the only way for me to do isk to pay for my ships, maybe after this patch i will turn to RMT (hey guys u know a good site?), i just hate scaning , soo that means no DED for me, i dont know maybe i will go back to npc space for a good chain or mission running or wtf ,anyway this patch means moore carebear less fun. From my point of view this sucks big time

Quote: It is no longer possible to assign shortcuts to keys already used by the default schema, for example you can no longer assign F1 to "Open Calculator".
Does this mean for example that I can't set "a" to "mid slot 1" because it is "align" in the default schema? If so, this is a major step backwards. What's the point of a customizable shortcut system if half of the keys are arbitrarily non-re-assignable?

Because everybody hates the new shortcuts, so of course they'll make them mandatory. Welcome to EVE. Where the devs screw the players in the ass and makes them pay for it.

I love the complete lack of any understanding of the game that CCP is displaying. Nurfing 0.0 space is going to give botters a field day, ISK inflation is going to go through the roof as people compensate for lack of income, by selling stuff at a much higher price. You think this is only going to affect nullbears? They're the ones who actually get the lovely shiney modules you like to fit to your mission-runners. Hope you enjoy paying a lot more for it :)
Also, CCP, what is the point of allowing people to comment on devblogs etc, when you completely ignore the will of the playerbase(who actually, you know, pay your wages)? It's taken i don't know how many years for you to fix basic things like being able to dock in a station after re-shipping in space, yet you push crap through like forcing everyone to use eve-gate. You're completely focused on shiney things that 80% of your existing playerbase doesn't care about, and you ignore things like RMT botting that completely alter the game for everyone. "oh we're getting tough on it" i'm sorry, that's crap. If you actually wanted to do something about RMT, you'd perm-ban accounts found to be botting. But you dont. Your complete inability to do anything even remotely worthwhile about it is a tacit approval of the practice. With this patch, I know a lot of people who are now going to start botting just to try and make some income. "oh but we're wanting to create more fights by making some space more valuable!" Really? You mean the rediculous lag-fests where it takes an hour to load system once you've jumped in, only to find that you're already 40% in to armor yet grid only loaded 5 seconds ago? By the way, can you stop with the "1,000+ man battles!" thing? It's false advertising. Serriously, what is it going to take for you to actually listen to what your existing customerbase wants/thinks about a proposal? Or are we just some form of annoyance that you need to give the appearence of caring about, so we'll keep throwing money at you.
So, congratulations CCP. Yet again you've taken what was a great game, and piece by piece you've pulled it apart and nurfed it to the point that it's almost not worth playing anymore.
P.S.: Whats the schedule for nurfing grav/mag/etc sites? Mission runners have been nurfed, 0.0 is being nurfed, so given recent form those wont be far away?

Your local gfx card doesn't render packets.
Lag != "choppiness" or other client performance issues.

Always amusing to read the emoragequit posts from bears that cba to actually try earning isk, and want everything handed to them on a technetium platter. Ever notice how most of them cba to enable their corp or alliance in profile? Hell, some didn't even bother with the portrait. Lazy.
Your default short-cuts are shown in the escape menu. You can change them to suit. Or if you want them back to default, hit 'reset to default' or whatever that button says. /platter
nul-sec isk making for normal people is about to change. Botters will still bot. And with a lack of anoms, there will be more belt botting. More DED plexes will help somewhat to compensate for the loss. But it won't be a total solution.
One person said he cba to make things and sell them and will quit. Cool. Less demand for modules means lower prices for me.
And... oh yeah. I can haz your stuff?

I would have really REALLY liked to see our current tattoo's to have been included in this, as the quote above indicates. Currently on the sisi build, this is not so. Some of us have had the same ink on our characters for well over 7 years. To have to change some of these things kinda sucks, to be honest. *points at sig*
Is there any intention of adding the remainder of the current tattoos in an upcoming patch, perhaps?
Also, any plans to introduce ink on the rest of our bodies?
