ok can i just say why is everyone praising ccp for closing an exploit.. when if they had done there job properly there wouldnt be one to start with,, just another of ccp's co** ups which have been so comon over the last couple of months.. i will save my congratulations for when i get some uninterupted game time, and yes i am still bitter for the loss of yesterdays mission bonus ccp sort this mess out please this game could be great if it werent so fuc*** up...

I've worked on a network server with just three remotes. All wireless, spread over about 15 square miles. In the deserts of Iraq. Where Iraqi's tried breaking in all the time. Some were successful, most weren't. We were always taking the server down to check the integritity of the server, correct weaknesses and assess unauthorized accesses. Funny how the only people who complained were the immature people. Have some respect for the way CCP is trying to fix this situation. Be patient and be glad that CCP has enough respect for US, the gamers, to actually be on top of things. They will do their best to make things right.
Until you've tried running a game based on a WAN, keep your little whinny crap to yourself.
The only thing you will see me cry about on here is if the peeps who used the exploits don't get permanently BANNED from this game.

Personaly, id rather see the rollback, and leave their time to other stuff. That is unless their time involved in rollback is greater than their time in doing something along the lines of your suggestion.

BTW why dont you move the downtime and patch releases at early morning or late at night ... its anoying when you have it in midday

Personally i have never heard of ANY game which has had no updates most games need updates sometime or another due to problems with original. Unfortunately for online games which i believe? are slightly more complex and can be fully upgraded for the better (like to Exodus) are bound to have bugs in it. So i take all those who moaned and whined about bugs and crap will be moaning and whining yet again for the next big exodus'y thing? lmao

I simply cannot understand, why it is so hard to say "we have a problem with the market/missions/mining/pvp". That would'nt give anyone the possibility to cheat but instead calm down the rumours. BTW - using the scissors leaves holes - and those are informative too.

I used my experience on a very small network in an attempt to illustrate that it's time consuming and quite difficult to keep one running when you have peeps taking advantage of weaknesses instead of reporting them. Now I never expected Iraqi's to report weaknesses , but it sure would be nice if the disgusting little cheaters of the world didn't cause us so many problems by taking advantage of things in this game.
And if you don't have something intelligent and constructive to say, don't remove all doubt as to your stupidity by opening your mouth little child.
