Well... what can I say? I just stumbled on this link today, watched the first two Clear Skies, and now just finished the third. I am completely shocked at how good these were, especially the third one.
Props to Ian/JR and everyone involved on making films 1-3, they are very, very impressive.
It's somewhat sad that the writing/dialogue/storytelling of these movies are head and shoulders above many mainstream sci-fi films/tv shows. I genuinely laughed out loud at several parts and felt an excitement I usually only get watching certain movies.
Anyway, to anyone debating whether to download this movie and watch it - don't hesitate - but first watch 1 and 2!

(Why didn't JR distract the fleet while the carrier destroyed the cyno-jammer? Seems like a carrier w/ all those fighters could dispatch it rather quickly. Plus all those lives on the carrier wouldn't be lost. Yes, I understand it made for a more dramatic scene, but it didn't really make sense.;p)

Beyond epic. Story was great voice casting perfect, loved the camera work....
I can't say enough CS3 just built on perfection of the other two. Great work!

Yeah I had to open it in windows media player. VLC was giving me errors for the audio.

(have you tried the w32codecs package?)
It wouldn't play on my PS3 home theater system either :(
I had to go watch it on the PC w/ Windows Media Player...

if someone reencodes the movie into a more "portable" audio format please share via torrent.
i too have issues playing it.
mplayer stays compeltely silent.
and XMBC is skipping like sand-paper treated vinyl.
.mkv with mp3 audio anyone?
tried reencoding myself but even handbrake chokes on it.

This movie is incredibly good !
Seriously, compared to all the bullsh*t Hollywood has produced in the last years, this movie is WAY better.
Emotional, funny, dramatic, a solid story ( combined with the first two ), nice special effect ^^, what else would you want?
