JGE is dead in the water last I heard, the game has been killed off by lawsuits and netdevil I think is no longer.

Everyone says EQ II and this game has been dying for the past 7 years.
If this is true, and they don't change too much in the mechanics, then at least you can maybe pay with Station Access for all SOE games.

In the recent Massively SWG interview with John Smedley there is this question/response.
Q: So you don't think that sandboxes (and sandbox systems) are dead for SOE? Will you ever make a new sandbox with SWG's pioneering features?
A: The answer is... stay tuned on the subject of sandboxes. We're super excited about the future of sandbox gaming. Let me just leave it at that!

Actually they've changed a LOT over the last 2 years, and it's all been pretty good, I just wish a lot of it had been implemented sooner, they might have done better over the last couple years if all the improvements of the last 2 expansions had been put in place earlier.

Hey guys... nothing says "troll post" more than a completely ridiculous accusation with no evidence.
That, and with the "terrible email" being sent BEFORE the massive protests (thus not in reaction to the protests), I wonder if most of you protesters have thought about some of the "evidence" from EN24.

No... it can't be true... The best MMO is history can't fall like this...
So much technical,human and game concept potential can't be loss in 2 days...
In the next devblog, CCP will tell us it was joke, divide aurum price by 10, give us [Walk in Station/mass effect online], and release a 0.0 fix.
It's the only things believable.Everything else is bull****.

EQ II is active but I would not call it very active.

Could this be a diversion tactic by CCP to draw heat away from the raging protest in hopes the players take the lesser of two evils?
- Buying various game breaking items through micro transactions to keep the funds rolling in and CCP owners? (or)
- Dealing with Sony Online Entertainment as partners and all their past histories of cash grabs destroying games?
