thou, since i heard DUST was gonna be PS3 exclusive , given i'm a paranoid androd, i feared that might be an option, and could actually explain some stuff, like:
CCP is tryin to trim the fat (in sony's opinon) off EVE, to make it more jucy for the big japanese borther

Was just re-reading the interview John Smedley gave to Massively regarding the closing down of Star Wars galaxies and this paragraph suddenly made a lot so sense.
Massively - "So you don't think that sandboxes (and sandbox systems) are dead for SOE? Will you ever make a new sandbox with SWG's pioneering features?"
John Smedley - "The answer is... stay tuned on the subject of sandboxes. We're super excited about the future of sandbox gaming. Let me just leave it at that!"

If you want to pop on the tinfoil hat, perhaps this MT and P2W guff has really all just been about trying to make themselves attractive to a Sony or other big player? Also, if they're in negotiations, might explain why they've done **** all to address their community's concerns over the last few days because:
a) they're otherwise occupied
b) they don't know the future of the game under Sony
c) they actually have no control of the future of the game anymore

Actually, they are attempting to scuttle the ship while still independent and moving before it gets drydocked and becomes a senior citizen casino and buffet with SONY stamped on the side.
