Ermm no.
Nullsec botting is back the way it was before all the Sreegs bull**** about doing things back in Spring. In fact its a hell of a lot worse.
Courier bots - go look at Ingunn and tell me "Report a bot" is anything other than /dev/null
The only thing that appears to have been hit in any measurable way (that can be seen by the playerbase) is mining bots. For everything else its game on.

Latest update killed weak gaming rigs.
From spinning ships to burning GPUs in stations.
Don't expect any rapid return from those people.
As for where the action is? Really, you don't know where to look?
Most violent systems (3 hours)
Ships / Pods 0.0 System PR-8CA (Delve)58 / 28 M-OEE8 (Tribute)34 / 25 3-OKDA (Catch)29 / 27 GE-8JV (Catch)24 / 24 FD-MLJ (Syndicate)
When there are zero cap kills in a day ending in a y I shall worry (a little) about activity.
Happy Birthday! |

seems like rest of 0.0 (most now ex 0.0) dwellers have fallen into apathy in front of unstoppable machine that is DRF who have taken soon close to 80% conquerable 0.0 space for themselves, their NCdot/raiden/whoever else pets and new renters. nothing is happening but a quick grind through last stations and systems that are still non DRF. with supercapital amounts that are used it is mere minutes to reinforce even outposts.. is this what ccp wanted to 0.0 be like? i dont think so.

Originally by: Sneakybustard russians have taken most of 0.0 just because they can with their huge supercapital blob. majority of systems are completely empty ghost towns and best systems will be filled with bots who warp to pos/cloak/logoff when hostiles come to system. welcome to new eve online. maybe ccp should consider doing something very soon before they lose more players..
I don't think so... Because...
My fleet was moving through 2-3 empty systems with an interceptor scouting ahead 2-3 jumps. And it was like empty, empty, empty, 3 in space nothing on D-scan... empty. If the bots were doing what you are say that they are doing we would see them logging off as we entered.
And people don't bot in empire to nullsec systems either.
well im sure you didnt go through every place in 0.0. like i said most of the conquered systems are completely empty as i have seen and only certain systems are filled with characters. you can see these hotspots from dotlan maps looking for most npc kills. there is some systems with ungodly amount of npc kills every day month and year.. go visit those systems and leave couple cloakers into system and see how fast npc kill amount drops in next 24 hours.. |

esterday's report. Goonswarm territory was almost empty. However today i got some info where are they all: they moved to Legion of DEATH territory Surely they feel much better with legion than in theirs empty deserts....
Wildly Inappropriate: 5 or 7 systems i found 1 system with people inside.
Fidelas <something> - in 1 system i have had nice meeting with people. One guy wasted like 1 hour or so waiting for me on the other side of a gates. Bad for him i was too busy having my dinner and repairing my keyboard. I'm really sorry but you could just ask what ship i am in.
Gentleman's aggreement: 5 or more systems empty. According to to sovereignty level they just took this place. Have seen few people. Not one from them was from this alliance.
Today i returned to Goonswarm region Thought i passed them already.
And now: Syndicate. One guy said me that all party goes around 19:00 by server time. Well. Will see what i find next time.... |

Goons are bored.
As for the other area's why would you expect to find anyone in it? With the security rating of those systems it's probably more lucrative to be running L4's on your empire alt.

I don't know. Maybe because someone installed territory claim units out there? and set up POSes? Unless this is all only for moon mining.....

Most of null is useless. The only reason people claim them is for a buffer zone and to help secure moon mining POSs. Plus its better to claim Sov near your "home" area then it is to leave it unsov where a enemy could easily take it and use for logistical reasons.
But its all a mute point since null is for the most part ****, hence why most don't even log on unless theres a broadcast or a timer for a fleet.

THE most undeniable signal that EVE is over:
They were able to "show the allegorical door" to simple players who just like basic functionality. Just ... basic ... functionality.
They were not able to absolutely murder the function of bots in the same fashion.
And as a result, this gaming corporation lost the people who actually hand over RL currency to them.

you tried curse or syndicate? both are pretty full this time of year...
I guess some of these people threatening to rage quit actually did then? LOL

I really wouldn't know... Although I have 6 months left on my sub, I don't play much anymore... no reason to really.. I log on to set skills (I guess in the hope that the game will improve before true death sets in) but I don't intend to renew my sub as things are now. I don't recommend EVE to my friends anymore as it isn't worth their time or money in my opinion. I still believe CCP wants to know why I feel this way because I still believe they DO care about improving their game. They are just sadly offtrack.
I was going to explain it all (here)...
but you know what? You don't want a wall of text and I don't have the time or energy to waste on a failed game anymore... too many other games to play.

Not seeing any difference myself. Still 40k+ on every day, and everywhere i go is busy as usual.
If it wasn't for the forums i wouldn't know EVE was dying, again

The daily average is without a doubt on a downward trend. ATM somewhere around 2009 levels.

Not in my corner. I'd like to think a few dozen corps have just left for a different region but somehow I don't think so.

The JB and anomaly changes might have scared off some of 0.0. I haven't been there much since so i can't say, but in hisec it's business as usual.

Yeah hi-sec systems are quiet too... market prices falling due to fewer people buying stuff... the global recession comes to EVE.

It's called milking the cow.
The new CCCP investors wanted to make a quick buck. Doesn't look like they are going to make much of one, so they are going to move on to the next thing soon after ruining this once great game.
That's free market economics for you.
