The new version of the EDT is online and ready to go! All it needs now is the information.

No need to let people on here know that, Celest Apoc arent important enough to warrant a place on the table. Says it all really.
Admittedly I been in and out the game a fair bit recently but wouldnt it be easier if your put all the [5] corps together as far as I'm aware we have the same standings more or less to everyone else.

1. Can anyone give me more information on the S.A.S. / Union / FE situation before I start adding people to the table? Are their claims on their regions cemented?
2. Phantom Conglomerate added because they're getting quite large: over 500 members now.

FYI, your "The Catch Wars" summary is pretty wrong.
CA existed way before the ex-stainers (called C4) joined it, also i think Omega Corp was the only stain corp that joined CA, the others such as OTA Corp and TTi was recruited by Omega Corp.
From reading the whole summary it would seem as if you already knew some of this, but you should correct the error anyways, as OC did fight CA for quite some time before their problems with SA. |

Not that this change really maters much but COE alliance and XF have a NAP that is not shown on your table.
Also You show the Foundation alliance with the ticker name FND. FND ticker is a long standing corp by the name of Foundation that I am the CEO of.

It would be pleasant if you'd change MC's standing back to neutral to everyone on your list. We do have the odd permanent KOS, but none of those are on the table.
I feel sorry for you if you intend to keep up with the MC contracts, as we sometimes (like now) take contracts on a corporation basis rather than an alliance basis. I'm sure Seleene will be more than happy to do some PR that you can check on from time to time.

Just a few updates I noticed and thought you should correct:
1. Please add Steel Rat and KSUDruid to the list of contacts for ASCN.
2. The Enslaver is no longer a contact for Imperium, and they are no longer "strong allies of Supremacy who have set up 'down the road' in Syndicate."
3. Veritas Immortalis is currently fighting Foundation in Great Wildlands. Also, AFAIK the war between RA and -V- is over.

It's ok Q i tend to add who owns which territory in the descriptions.
I usually use the offical map to work that out however, so once it's updated i'll change our info accordingly.

Wouldn't it make sense to get rid of the protectorate status? The only protectorate in recent times was PBL, and there hasn't been one in ages. Not to mention it would get rid of that asymmetrical black spot in the table.

It's better to remove non-active alliances if they're dead in the water and just taking up room on the table. Both Union and XETIC seem to have vanished.

Union was the temporary name for an alliance controlling Tribute.
FE was the name chosen for the ingame alliance, named after one of the largest member clans, which controlled Gem and Vale.
That member clan has now broken up.
Geminate is no longer claimed by FE, they have moved to Tribute - SAS/VOC have the station down there.
Vale is mostly uninhabitted, except for the station controlled by SAS/VOC.

We changed the Union name for The Forsaken Empire [F-E]alliance name. The few left in the corp F-E are now in the alliance, so i guess you could just erase Union name and use The forsaken Empire for our both. And we aren't dead. thanks

May I suggest a change in colour for Non Aggression pacts to light blue? It makes spotting friends and foes easier as the current yellow (NAP) and orange (hostile) is very close to each other in colour.
As for the colour choice it might be good to know how the colorublind among us takes to the colours. I do know that red and orange might be difficult to tell apart Linkage

I believe we're in the process of getting SMASH added to the table and once we do, will set them to the appropriate full war with MC.

While the description for the U'K is fairly apt, we do not consider ourselves at war with 5 nor do we have a formal declaration as we do with AM and CVA.
At worst, I would say an "Enemies" designation is in order, but even that is arguable depending on the standard. There have been some hostilities in 0.0, but we do not officially consider them enemies.
So I would downgrade it to Enemies at least if not neutral.

While our contract on ASCN has expired (already changed - keeping up with EVE's political antics well, keep up the good work!), ASCN still seem to wish to retain a degree of hostility towards us as per their forum post stating "As for standings, until ASCN leadership thinks of a reason to change them, MC are -10 and KOS to ASCN in all 0.0 space."
I will keep oppinions away from this thred.
Also, MC has not forgiven SMASH, but our official war was retracted to allow us to focus on the ASCN contract.
We do not have a new contract to report at this time.
So, sadly:
Hostile marker set between ASCN and MC
War marker changed to hostile marker between SMASH and MC

Another correction that should be made is that you have the allice Foundation with a ticker FND. That is not correct. Foundation Corp has the ticker FND and is not and has never been part of Foundation Aliance. Foundation Corp is much older than Foundation Allance.

After an incident where an MC pilot was shot down by a PA pilot, PA has desided to set us to -10.
Please note PA as MC's enemies.
Being an official enemy of MC means that you are free game and that any contract offers you might wish to discuss is treated with least possible priority.
Currently, MC has a lot of bored pilots and they are free to pursue MC's enemies as they see fit.
Disclaimer: being politically neutral means we do not seek NAPs nor hostility (other than temporary), but we reserve the right to respond according to how others would rather have it.
I'm also going to check on the status of the RO NAP as I was given the impression it was temporary.

A long overdue change: only offical alliances will be shown on the table. Back when this table was first created, we allowed alliances that had not yet coughed up the funds to form an alliance to appear on our board. This is no longer the case.
Also i would like a show of hands for those in favour of deleting the Fountain Alliance from the table.

I believe there's a war entry missing from Ushra'khan to V, as there's a war entry from Veritas to UNITY. (I.e. I assume that if A does war on B, B is at war with A)

A few ammendments for FIX so your site is up to date:
No treaty of friendship exists with SMASH. (tbh no idea how that came about, there never was a treaty of friendship). Blank square would be more appropriate.
The [5] are not currently explicit enemies of FIX, a blank square would be more appropriate.
PA are a hostile entity to FIX, an orange square would be appropriate.
Imperium are a hostile entity to FIX, an orange square would be appropriate.
RA are a hostile entity to FIX, an orange square would be appropriate.

hello,
this will be my last post in here 
Tri Optimum has left the OPUS Alliance and i request to delete
my Name as an authorized contact, clear up all the standings
for the OPUS Alliance, so set them to neutral towards everyone. Just Flying Condor is the remaining contact and acknoledged these steps.
My Corp did all the diplomatic stuff, so they agreed to start from
zero.

Nope! Someone from SMASH posted a nice long list of enemies. They almost got a perfect score by filling in all the squares. Maybe next time :D

Chimaera Pact were wardecced by RA last week. We wardecced FSA this week because they were doing logisics runs and scouting in empire for RA.
We are neutral to all other entities except FFA, who mailed me to declare support for RA.

I have to filter and remove everything and do it one at a time, I can get 2 though.. Just thought I would give you some feedback.

I'm looking at graphically reorganizing the chart in the very near future. Goals will be to:
a) Organize it to better display the large number of alliance it tracks and
b) implement alternative display methods (currently includes using ASCII characters or another low-bandwidth method)
Hopefully when this is implemented you will find it much easier to use, and as such, everyone wins.

I know people don't think about it much, but I like to give some feedback so things may be either improved with new options as your doing, or making it so we can change it to suit ourselves.. While I am not a Band of Brothers official speaker I can say that BoB was never at war with either Iron or G. War should be reserved for official declarations. Techinically you could say BoB or almost any allaince was at war with anyone that they KOS or NBSI policies. I think that you should probably make that distinction somewhere in your thingy.

Riley: The "At War" designation is explicitly only for official war declarations, or un-official but reliable declarations of alliance-wide war. If you can get an official BoB representative to confirm that you're not at war (under the terms I just specified) then we will be more than happy to adjust the table accordingly.

We used to add large corps back in the day when Shinra, ATUK etc were roaming independently but these days it's only official alliances.

A few things in relation to CVA
1) Tribal Souls are KOS to CVA (one of the few alliances that are) due to various incidents of pirating and the unsanctioned erection of a POS in our region.
2) The TSDS (TSBS) alliance is also KOS in our space due to past actions and shall remain so until they apologise
2) Huzzah should be listed as friendly - even though we do not have a formal pact. The same should apply to Interstellar Alcohol Conglomerate (IAC)
3) FIX are listed as enemies - but they are not KOS to CVA unless they aggress in our space. We do however have a number of their former corps (Asuya and Exile) as KOS due to piracy
4) The war with Ushra'Khan (Unity) alliance is onging and correct...

You have SMASH down as enemies of the CVA - not sure where you got this from...
We do not have them on our 'alliance' KOS list. It is possible that a few SMASH individuals or corps may be on our KOS list for attacking us or neutrals in our area but the alliance as a whole is not and their members can mine/hunt and travel through our space as long as they abide by our non-agression rules.
I would suggest that you therefore take SMASH off the CVA enemy list - unlesss of course SMASH do consider us enemies - in which case leave it as it is and we will add them to our KOS

SDX has essentially adopted the standings of EKP and FREGE. There were very few differences between the two. Of EKP's positive standings, only G and TRUST were NAPs. SDX is now a friend of G, and TRUST isn't on the table. So all the alliances I designate as "friends" should reflect a treaty of friendship.

Well the table is on its way to being updated, i just need to know what the standings of ERA and OSS are.
Edit: It's becoming difficult these days to know which alliance to add and which not to. If anyone has any ideas as to how we should choose the alliances that go here i'm open to anything you might have to say.

Can you remove Heptameron, Fred0 and Mindblank from razor contacts and instead add Wulfnor, Therem Harth and Tweekant. Those seem to do most of it nowadays anyway.
Also. Morsus Mihi as ally to us along D2 and you can put KAOS, ERA, VOID as enemies.

Little update for NORAD
3FA is currently on our KOS list, as is the new Goonswarm, and Pure. (also BoB but that has never been anything else) i think we also recently reset ASCN to neutral due to no interaction.
Contacts:
Currently the Minister of Foreign Affairs is Barin Serrano
while the diplomatic crew includes myself, Helison, SigmaPi, Guurel and Aikowan.

About FIX diplomatic situation there are some bit errors, mainly:
- FIX and BOB relations are friendly, protectorate is the color we need in that square
- We are NAP with AXE aswell
- We are no more at war with Huzzah
- We are at war with AAA (.-A-.)
- We aren't NAP with smash, they are on our payback list together with IMPERIUM, VOX and a few more that joined the "Bandwagon"
those are main changes I guess.

Hi guys, the table is now in hiatus for a while.
The reason is I believe its not up to meeting the demands of recording the kind of information it's designed to, after all it was orginally concieved in an age when major alliances were few and far between!
And so it's time for a major redesign. I'm looking for a new bunch of programmers to help me out. See here

Minor tip:
Either replace the href="http://www.eve-dev.net/e107_plugins/alliance_table/table.php#" in the anchor tag with a href="javascript:void(0);"
OR
add a "return false;" to the end of the onclick="..." (for IE only the return false works, in FF you can cancel event bubbling)
Otherwise most browsers will make you jump to the top (because of the "#"), when clicking into a cell.

I've updated what I could. There is still an issue with the updating of new alliances to the cached list. I believe the table caches directly from eve and then I'm able to select from a list who's active and who's not. I need to have alliances such as Aftermath and Ka-tet added to this list, so i'm going to speak to Knifee about it.
